Hotel Abbas (Abu Simbel Tourist Village) 100LE bed only, ensuite Imagine a young backpacker making his way through the deserts of Africa, dry, dusty and tired. The small village of Abu Simbel is an expensive place to stay compared to much of Egypt. Yet here is a place that can offer a bed, hot and cold water to shower, and... More

keep away, the Noubaleh isn't great but this is a new low. The rooms are filthy, the shower and lavatory are the filthiest ever. The aircon works and the manager gave us an anti-mosquito spray. No sheets

My friends and I wanted to spend a night in Abu Simbel to avoid the crowd and to see the light and sound show at night. There are not many hotels there so we chose the cheapest one, Abu Simbel Village. This place is very expensive for the value. The room was a little bit filthy. The hostel is also... More
