Spent 3 nights here for a mid week getaway. Very clean. The pool area is very nice, 3 grills for guest use. We had a studio unit that was very cost efficient with a full refrigerator, microwave, stove, undated bathroom. Good location, a block from the beach and Stone Harbor.

We usually go to Plaza Beach Hotel so decided to try a new place on the beach. This place The Beachcomber is a hidden gem for sure. Great quality live music and nice resort. Awesome outdoor pool, warm. Food expensive from Jimmy Bs and food not the best quality. Great views from room and nice beach overall. Would recommend to all and I am a hard critic.

We usually rent a house in Stone Harbor for our annual 2 week family vacation. This year, our reservation was cancelled due to Covid and we thought our vacation streak was broken. We contacted The Beachcomber hoping to find some space for our 3 family units, and boy, did they come through! Nathan, the GM, outdid himself and we got 3 great units, including a 2br/2bath (#316) for my son, his wife and 3 children. We stayed for several days in late June, and as always took advantage of the fabulous "back yard" with pool, hot tub, grilling area, fire pit and the rest of the amenities. Speaking of the pool and the surroundings, Eddy (the "pool guy") is a treasure! he keeps everything spotless, running right, and is simply an example of customer service at its finest (as is Cortney at the front desk). The Resort is always spotless (even when no virus is around!), and that was very comforting to all of us. The location is perfect, with several great dining spots within a very short walk (as is the beach). The Beachcomber is perfect for families, and the accommodations, to repeat, are first class. It will always be our "go-yo" place on Seven Mile Island, and not just when our rental doesn't work out!

Every year my family heads out to the Jersey shore for our family vacation. This year like the past two years we stayed at the Beachcomber resort. Unlike previous years though, because of the pandemic, the pools were shut down. We were not aware of this before we got there and you can imagine how my kids felt once we checked in and discovered this news. I myself was very upset with the fact that we paid for this part of the vacation but would not be able to take advantage of everything the hotel had to offer. Without skipping a beat, Nathan (the hotel manager) stepped in to make everything right. Talk about a classy human being. Nathan was able to get me a reduced rate for the length of our stay and was very helpful in pointing out attractions that were still available to us while we were there. Now the icing on the cake. My wife and kids decided to stay a couple of days later, and instead of having to wait the 3 hours without a room (checkout is 10am and check-in is 1pm) Nathan made sure to get the new room ready before 11 am so they could have an easy transition. This man went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable vacation, and for that he is the definition of customer service.

Beachcomber is an awesome family camping resort. The property is very clean and organized. They have jumped thru hoops to run the resort thru challenging times with coronavirus. A few weeks ago I wondered if we would have a season but here I sit seeing things nearly back to normal and I’m super impressed with the results of all the hard work the many people of Beachcomber have accomplished! There are a couple people I’d like to recognize: Security - Lou - we call him Uncle Lou, he is friendly, A dogs best friend and he has eyes in the back of his head which comes in handy when my grandkids are here! Entertainment - Courtney - she is the most sincere, funny, energetic ball of energy. She does a lot of independent work so I’m not sure people see how amazing she is but trust me, if Courtney drives by with trivia questions, family feud or arts and crafts, listen to her. Your day will be brighter for talking with her! Although I mentioned these 2 people, there are so many amazing people running beachcomber including the owners. Thank you Bachcomber for the positive impact you’ve had on our lives! Sincerely, Irene
