It takes more than 3 weeks to get the refund of the guarantee voucher , the internet in the bungalows is weak , poor service, the swimming pools at the bungalows are really small , the best service of the hotel is the breakfast , great food , you have lot of choices
I planned my wedding at the Hotel Oro Verde in 2020 before the pandemic hit with Daniela who initially showed us around and familiarized us with our options at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were unable to have our wedding due to the pandemic, over two years went by and we were finally able to fulfill our dream wedding in December of 2022 with the AMAZING help of Robinson Zamora who took over our wedding coordination at the hotel!! He was so attentive to all of our questions and needs. He helped with every aspect and made my wedding planning seamless. He is a very sincere and caring person, I would recommend him to anyone! Also, the chef Andres is very talented and attentive to detail and taste, the food was exquisite! The coordinator of our banquet Andres was just as helpful and attentive. The entire staff at the hotel were very kind, caring, and helpful. All of the amenities (especially the gym) were also a plus. The rooms are awesome but if you have the chance to stay in a private bungalow, it is well worth it! Thank you Robinson and the rest of the staff at Hotel Oro Verde! You facilitated great, life-long memories for me, my husband, family, and friends. I wish I could relive our wedding!! It was a dream. I cannot wait to stay again and enjoy the hotel on a future visit. 🥰 -Andrea and Casey…
I had an excellent service. Tobias the Bellboy was very attentive with us. He is an excellent person took care of everything that we might need. At the Restaurant Esteban was always preoccupied in giving us all the attention in whatever we might need. They are wonderful workers and kind people.
We stayed 13 nights due to business and upon arrival the front desk receptionist was very rude, showed no compassion and lacked customer service. She tried to charge me an excess amount on my credit card as a guarantee but after my objection she ended up charging us the balance of our stay. Not understanding what had transpired, I looked into the issue. I have to thank David for taking his time to explain the "new" hotel process. I did state that the front desk receptionists are key when it comes to customer service. Recommend they take classes on how to greet new, old and current clients of the hotel. Every time we walked into the hotel, they never looked up nor greet you. In the past, the staff (i.e. Gema) was so welcoming and made you feel at home. If it wasn't for Holger, David, Tobias, Roddy and "el falco" (don't recall his name but my dad called him el flaco) who made us feel at home, we would have shortened our stay at this hotel and relocated to another hotel in the area. It's been two yrs since we returned to this hotel, and they have made beautiful changes. However, the newer staff working there are not as warming and welcoming. They can all benefit from taking a class or two on how to greet clients the same "not just their friends". In addition, the staff who cleaned our room were so nice, professional and welcoming all the time. They were always on time cleaning our room and so respectful.…
Excellent customer service. Shot out to Jose Reyes during breakfast time, went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything and made my papaya smoothie every morning! Such Great hospitality. Lots of good options for vegan/vegetarians
Let me first start with the main rooms facing the road are loud. The road has lots of traffic and in Ecuador horn honking is non stop. With that said the Bungalows look out of this world amazing (did not stay in one, what a regret). The rooms in the back building with the suites are quiet, comfortable and though out dated in décor, very clean and comfortable. The food is very good, the bars are great and the location is extremely convenient for shopping and the best section of beach in the city. I would like to take a minute to call out how amazing Alexamai Mora at the front desk was. She helped us work on a room that fit our needs and made our stay go the best it could be. If we ever stay in Manta City again, Oro is the only place we will consider and the Bungalows are our on our bucket list. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay great from storing our luggage for 3 hours after check out to Estaban at the bar for a great service.…
The attention is first class and it is a true 5-star in Manta and Ecuador. I have stayed here several times and everything has been excellent from the service, the rooms, the food, and the experience. They have a very comfortable and modern bungalow area and a new tennis court that is formidable. In general, the entire chain of these hotels is first class. I recently had a problem with my suitcase which was left by me by mistake at the hotel after check out. The staff helped me from start to finish (even sending the suitcase to another city where I was), especially Alexa and Maura, who are excellent professionals who helped me a lot to solve this problem. Congratulations Oro Verde and thanks for everything. Don't hesitate to book it!!
Manta is a beautiful city and our stay at Oro Verde was amazing. The hotel has a wonderful view of the ocean with everything else you could ever need. The staff are all so nice and helpful, especially Linder, from the first day we arrived he was always there to help answer any questions and support us in any way he could. The gym and pool were a definite highlight of the hotel. Overall I am very pleased with my stay and would recommend the Oro Verde to all of my family and friends.
My stay here has been excellent. The service is amazing. I would like to recognize Linder for his kindness and willingness to help out our group whenever we needed it. We met him on the first day and he helped us navégate the city and give recommendations on places to go. Thank you very much for everything.
Really nice place, the staff is very friendly and help you with any concern. The pool is stunning, we have a really good time and experience in the hotel. The food is very tasty and a lot of variety. The buffet breakfast is tasty and you can find manabis typical food
