We didn't have any reservations when arriving at Santa Cruz. Darwin hostel was price/quality for us the best option. Wifi is not always available, but the room is very clean, the beds are comfi and there's a nice place to hang out.

When we walked in, they noted they had wifi, AC, and hot water. When we checked in a couple days later, their wifi was broken and AC did not work. Not a huge issue since we were there for only one night and it was not super hot. We had a drunk guy break into our room around 11:30 PM...

These guys are not professionals. I made a reservation onsite a couple of days before I wanted to stay in the hostel (later that day I went to Isabela island and wanted to have my stay arranged for my return). Surprisingly, when I came to pick up the keys 2 days later, they said that they didn’t have a room...

+Great location, not far from the pier. +The owners are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and trustworthy! They also have a travel agency where you can book everything. +Some rooms are very simple and a bit old but very clean and spacious. Showers worked very well. They have a few new rooms (most with air con) which looked nice. We didn't...

Jorge, his wife and daughter we really friendly and welcoming. We had the private double room 2 and it was very clean. There was a fan to keep cool. The shower had...

I stayed at this hostel while volunteering for two weeks. It was absolutely superb and Magdalena, the owner and her husband Jorge were like a second family to me and the other volunteers. The rooms were spacious & spotless and beds comfortable. Breakfast was always prepared very well with delicious scrambled eggs, fresh bread and fruit served outside in the...

A pretty good place for what we paid ($30 for two people in a double room). The hot water was a bit finicky; I actually scalded myself on the first day when it went super hot all of a sudden. But its clean, had a powerful fan, and was spacious enough. One tip, don't let the owner book a taxi...

This hostel became our home from home. The location is great, walking distance from the main drag of shops and restaurants, as well as the harbour for catching water taxis and boat trips. Just round the corner you can get a bargain lunch for $4 or $5 from the kiosks. The rooms are en suite and cleaned daily. Magdalena, Jorge...

We stayed there as a couple in one of the double rooms for two nights. The friendly lady at the desk was so nice and helpful we felt very welcome from the first moment. The room was clean, the attached bathroom too. We had a large double bed which was compfy. The hot shower worked well all the time. They...
