This hotel is close to Tortuga Bay (you can easily walk to the entrance) and close to the main roads in town, but not so close that there is a lot of noise. The rooms are spacious but the staff makes this place. They are friendly and helpful. One of my soles on my Keens came unglued and they took it and got it fixed for $5. Laundry also was done in a day. Whatever you need, including a good breakfast, can be found here.

We stayed in room 1, which overlooks the pool and is close to the water and coffee station. I much preferred that than climbing stairs every time to go to the room.

Byron was a fantastic host helping us arrange last minute tours and finding accommodation to match at their hotel. His communication, flexibility, and great customer service made our itinerary in the Galapagos work! The hotel is great, clean, safe, first class, and an overall great experience.

The location of the newly refurbished hotel is perfect, very close to the main street, pier and food kiosks.
Breakfast starts early at 6AM so you can make it before you leave for the many island boat tours.
Digital bracelets enable front door entrance, room and safe access. Good A/C, TV and WiFi connection.
There is a small fridge in the room, along with refillable water bottles that you can fill besides the pool (there is also a coffee station). Also, there are a couple of cloth backpacks, you can get some groceries from the supermarket by the pier.
Byron and Marco made sure we were comfortable and also fulfilled our transport to Baltra airport.

This family-owned hotel is a gem in Puerto Ayora. It is located a walking distance from las Ninfas and on the way to Tortuga Bay, both must-go places in Puerto Ayora. My room was on the first floor next to the pool and I did not have any problem with my privacy. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was full of local fruits, juices and fresh baked pastries and breads. The staff is friendly and helpful and the owners are on top of every detail. I simply enjoyed my stay and I am sure I will return soon.

The hotel is a calming oasis hidden behind an unassuming entry. Hotel staff is very friendly and efficient. The pool and lounge area is incredibly quiet and relaxing. Everything is just as shown in the photos. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The key is a wristband that works on the door, as well as the safe - a very clever solution.

Everywhere you turn, they’re giving you free things: soft drinks in minibar, baskets of snacks, water bottles, string knapsacks!

We appreciated its location on a side street. It’s a short walk to virtually anyplace in town, but removed from the noisy crowds on the main streets. Would highly recommend.

The SF Hotel logo must stand for So Fine. This great, little hotel offers much charm with its decor, reading nooks, pool, and reception. The rooms are kept scrupulously clean, and they’re attended to daily. They’re a comfortable size and include a roomy shower with plenty of hot water. Outside reception there’s a coffee and a water station for refilling water bottles. Byron and Marco are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This was my first time to the Galapagos islands wasn't sure where to stay. They absolutely stood out from the rest of our my options based on their communication which was super fast and clear. Perfect location and super helpful staff super clean rooms and got to love someone standing at the airport with a sign with your name on it.

We are so happy that we stayed here. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff was always friendly and went out of their way to assist! The breakfast was also delicious and the hotel was in a great location, walking distance to everything! Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I spent only one night at this hotel but all we can say is that is a very good choice if you want to visit Santa Cruz. We asked the owner to show us all the rooms (7) and there are large, very clean, with TV and air conditioning. Inside of the court there is a pretty nice pool if you are too lazy to go to the beach. Speaking of beach, this hotel is on the way to Tortuga Bay. One of the advantages of this hotel is that the owner is also the captain of Santa Fe III boat and he also have a travel agency downstairs. So it is very convenient to book excursions (and also diving gear) around the island.
