Our first stay was at Finch Bay and we were less than overwhelmed (even if they have a pool). This was much, much better - you can feel the German heritage in the hotel as everything is well thought out, neat, bright and tidy.

I assume it is no smoking. I don't smoke so I didn't pay attention to any signage. However, I didn't see anyone smoking during the 5 days I stayed there--inside or outside. In fact, In a two and a half week period in Ecuador, I think I saw only three people smoking at all.
