We had a poolside double twin, cold a/c, breakfast was good. Small staff kept things running well and personal service. Location near the best eating street, and a short walk to the pier and water taxi. Maybe a mile walk to the Darwin center, but we did the walk a couple of

The hotel is a great little gem in Puerto Ayora. Clean rooms, a great pool, and attentive service. We stayed for two nights after a bad experience at a AirBnB... IT WAS WONDERFUL. Our only complaint... and it is minor... was the directions we were given to Tortuga Bay.

Firstly, the staff are all very helpful and polite. The place is clearly kept clean and tidy by the cleaning staff. The breakfast was also very nice and plentiful. Secondly, I thought the place was pretty good for value for money, but the rooms do require a little updating. The

We only had one night at this hotel, but loved it and would like to have been there longer. The hotel is well located near the city centre/the pier and close to the path to Tortuga Bay. Nice pool. nice staff, cosy rooms, very good breakfast, which already was served from 0630.

Dear Joan, Regarding your question about the transfer service, let me explain you how it works: Since you arrive in a different Island (Baltra) once you arrive to Galapagos you will first have to get to Santa Cruz Island where the hotel is located. In the airport there are no taxis that can take you to Santa Cruz but you are provided of an airline bus that is free that will take you from the airport to the Itabaca channel. Once you get to the Itabaca channel you have to take a Ferry that will cost 1 USD per person and will transport you from Baltra to Santa Cruz. In Santa Cruz you can take a taxi that will transport you to Puerto Ayora (where our hotel is situated). The taxi drivers at Santa Cruz will charge you 25 USD per taxi (in each cab fit 4 people). Now, the transfer service we offer is contact a taxi driver we trust that will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name on it, this person will help you with your baggage to take it to the bus, he will take the bus with you and then he will also assist you with the ferry and finally once you get to Santa Cruz side he will take you to the hotel on his taxi. This service will cost you 40 USD per taxi that has to be paid directly to the taxi driver. The transfer to the airport also costs 40 USD, however you also have the possibility to take a bus to the Itabaca channel, but it only leaves at 8AM. Best regards, Katherine HOTEL FIESTA

We used Altamar Daily Tours for a day tour to North Seymour. This is a great option since you don't spend a lot of time traveling like some day tours to other islands. You can book them in advance via internet or just show up at their office located 5 minutes from the Fiesta. Google Altamar Daily tours for a full list of their tours. Excellent boat and crew. As the other person mentioned, you would have to go to Isabela to see penquins. We saw marine iguanas on Santa Cruz, San Cristobal and Isabela.
