We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The highlight was the pool area, which our kids used every day while we relaxed on the lounge chairs and enjoyed a drink. The grounds are also well-maintained, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated the convenience of the included breakfast, especially since most of our day tours departed early in the morning. Although we never tried it, they can also pack you a lunch to take with if you don’t have time for breakfast. The rooms are in need of improvement. They felt basic and dated, with noticeable issues such as cracked floor tiles and a rusting fridge. Despite this, they were clean and the beds comfortable. Since we were usually exhausted after our day tours and only used our room for sleeping, these issues didn't bother us much. The hotel's location a few blocks from the main part of town meant that it was pleasantly quiet at night, perfect for getting a good night's sleep. Wi-Fi was available, but it was often slow. While it was sufficient for checking email and social media, it won’t work for streaming videos or perform other bandwidth-intensive tasks. This is not unique to this hotel though, our experience was similar in all the islands.

Pool and bar area very nice. Great for relaxing . One of the nicest pool areas I have seen at this type of hotel. Rooms a bit of a different story. Clean but showing their age. We stayed on two separate occasions and you couldn’t get down one side of the bed in the first room. Wi-Fi is fine in the bar area but if you have a room at the end then no hope of a signal. Didn’t worry us but others might be concerned. Great location just away from noisy area. On our first stay we left early so they did us a packed breakfast which was good.

We recently returned from our 9-day Galapagos trip. What an adventure. Miles of hiking on lava fields, lush forests and many other types of terrain. We visited several different islands on great day trips. Home base was Hotel Fiesta on Santa Cruz. Lovely hotel with great people. Clean and very quiet where we could relax and enjoy a few off hours. Very short walk to downtown Puerto Ayora and all the restaurants and shopping. Great Staff - highly recomended.

The rooms do not have wifi. The front desk notes this is an “island issue”-fair enough, but if you don’t have real wifi you don’t have real wifi and should make a disclaimer to that effect. They are also very skimpy with towels, and our bathroom have no towel rod at all!

We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time. The real pluses are the fantastic pool area, very clean with large variety of loungers and great Jacuzzis (albeit a bit hot) The other real benefit if the great location, 5 minutes walk to town and restaurants, but very quiet and secluded in lovely garden areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is brought to you and pretty much the same each day but perfectly adequate. The only reason I would not give a 5, is that the rooms are a bit basic and feel quite tired. The bed is huge and bedding is very clean. There is however very little storage space beyond a small rail and only one towel hook in the bathroom. The AC however is very efficient.

As written in other reviews, the entrance and pool area are very nice and well maintained. However, the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, new paint etc. We had a twin room where one of the beds blocked part of the bathroom door. It was not suitable for 2 beds. The front staff was friendly. Their laundry service excellent. The breakfast was OK. The location is good, close to the main streets. But I would still choose somewhere else to stay.

Were here for 2 nights. Pool area is beautiful (note it is the prime photo) and they seem to be in the process of upgrading the fencing, but it was still possible to get a drink at the small bar. Breakfast hours are pretty limited. The room was meh. WiFi was bad, mosquitos, gekos and only one small nightstand for a room with a queen bed. I did like that the AC unit did not blow directly onto the bed. Water in shower had good pressure, but it kept cutting from hot to cold and back again. It is fine for one night or if you get a really good deal.

Good B and B a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Puerto Ayora. We stayed here for 6 nights in one of the bungalows (spacious, clean, but simple, but avoid the small rooms!). Excellent pool and pretty garden area with plenty of space and shade. The poolside bar was fine, though limited stock, but we brought in our own cava and wine and the staff were happy with this. The breakfast was not very good (coffee poor) and so we went out each morning to eat. Reception staff friendly and efficient and organised a taxi for us to the airport ($25). Fun cocktail bar next door and the Agave restaurant 50 metres away was excellent.

Our stay at the Hotel Fiesta was faultless. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s a short walk to the malecon with bars and restaurants but far enough away for total peace and tranquility. The hotel boosts a wonderful pool and jacuzzi area with a variety of excellent quality sun loungers and furnishings. A small but perfectly stocked bar and a nice breakfast area which served a perfect tropical breakfast. The rooms were spacious and perfectly air-conditioned. The staff made it for me, they we’re all incredibly helpful, and always responded with a simile. I’m not sure what else I can say other than if I get the chance to come back to Galapagos, I’d book the hotel fiesta again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Las Ninfas is just behind the hotel. A really quiet and secluded spot to watch the sea turtles...

This is quite a basic hotel. There are no toiletries in the bathroom, and the room feels like a dorm room. The wifi works only in the common areas and does not reach the rooms. Breakfast is ok but only between 7 and 9am, and if you arrive after 8:45 there is no chance of getting any food. No coffee after 9am. At 9pm, everything switches off, including access to the pool. To top it off, a lot of work was going on all day, drilling in concrete and sawing/hammering until nearly 8pm even on Sunday.
