Luxurious apartments in a viila located in the hills, 18 kms from the beach with a localized rather damp/moist climate. The administration tends to charge for most activities! They even wanted to overcharge 1800 USD due to a change in reservation made one month in advance! The restaurant, food and people that attend are very nice.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and were truly delighted with this hotel. We arranged for a transfer thru the hotel upon arrival in the Galapagos Islands. Transfer was very smooth no complaints. Check in as well was smooth sailing as well. We were personally greeted by the manager of the hotel which I always...

Stayed here a couple of nights with my wife. Great romantic place just to relax and regroup. The place is about a 20-30 min from the city in a remote area, but if you want nightlife well get a hotel in the city....... I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of rooms and spaciousness of the cottages. Simply wonderful. Staff...

I stayed here for 3 nights in October, considered 'off season' - which means more wet and rainly than you will find in January. And yes, WiFi here is potty but one should expect this in the Galapagos. These things are not a problem for me, and I found it so lush and green and beautiful that I loved every...

We loved our adventure trip to Galapagos! For the most part, it was great but we had a few unexpected issues. We booked the trip through Maria who was very on the ball and helpful. We opted for the pre-paid transfer from the airport to the hotel. When we got to the airport, there was nobody holding a sign with...

My husband and I just returned from a 4-week adventure in South America, which began at The Royal Palm Resort Hotel. Our original plans had us staying at the Royal Palm for 3 nights before we were to move to a live aboard yacht for a week of diving around the Galapagos Islands. Just hours before we were to board...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment; we hope these inconveniences didn’t spoil your Galapagos experience. We are somewhat surprised that any of our employees would discuss confidential information of that sort with guests about the conditional of our facilities. The Royal Palm is one of the best hotels on Santa Cruz Island and Puerto Ayora in terms of accommodations, food and service. While much of the archipelago offers a coastal climate that is marine desert, this 5 star hotel is found in the lush, green Santa Cruz highlands, home to the famed Galapagos giant tortoise. Our stay here was...

We stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to Galapagos. The location has two advantages. First, it's up high and cooler than in town. Second, of you're doing activities out of the north side of the island, you will be the last one picked up and the first one dropped off. The lava tubes are also a treat. We...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment; we are very happy that we were able to make you feel at home.
