Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Conveniently located near the water front and close to many restaurants. Easy to get a taxi from here. Breakfast used to be a lot better but is now poor and if you want anything cooked like eggs you have to pay extra USD 5+ which seems penny pinching when you might be paying USD...

At Hotel Dili I always have a relaxing stay. I choose an ocean view suite which gives me a veranda, office space and an area to sit and relax, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The staff are friendly and always available. the food, if a little unimaginative, is always wholesome and everything is done alfresco, under cupolas with fans....

Our second time here. Hotel Dili has basic, but comfortable rooms. We stayed in the shared facilities rooms which were fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are also good value for Dili

I stayed at this hotel in April and it was then going through rennovations and was very noisy. so when i returned in July was surprised to see that the rennovations were still going on and were even on a much larger scale. Work was going on early mornings to very late night so it was noisy and dusty!! three...

Hotel Dili was . . . okay but given the prices and services offered at other hotels in the area, there are far better options. My room was okay, nothing flash, but was right next to an open sewer. This meant I had mosquitoes in my room all the time. The food was pretty bad, breakfast was okay. Internet was...

Good beachfront road location. Somewhat haphazard arrangement of buildings and rooms. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. This hotel is basic for Australian standards but very good value. Lots of restaurants in the street parallel back into the city. And there is a narrow path just to the left of the hotel that gets you there quicker than...

I have stayed here a few times over the years. I like it. The rooms are well presented, well equipped and quiet. And you can work in the rooms for extended periods too. The breakfast is served under a canvas and it is a little disappointing if you are used to US or European standards, yet after a few weeks...

Hotel Dili is in a good location near to the centre which is small enough to walk around in an hour or so. Staff are helpful and friendly and hotel is safe with 24 hour security (peace of mind to keep my motorcycle safe). They have a selection of rooms from budget price levels abd above, and a good included...

What can I say ... down to earth great little hotel right on the beach.... Very nice small hotel. The rooms are comfortable and almost " homelike" ... The furniture is a mix of old retro style, clean in good condition and the bed was a very comfortable queen sized one. The bathroom was clean, the towels were fresh and...

Hotel Dili is a great place to stay when in Dili, Timor Leste. Staff are very friendly. It is a safe and comfortable hotel. Close to shops, Xanana's Reading Room, 'One more Bar' , ANZ bank, markets and opposite the Dili Harbour and Lecidere waterfront.

“Best value are the USD 90 rooms at the back called superior rooms. Best rooms are the portacabins at USD 130 but over priced. Good bathrooms. Biggest room is the business suite with DVD and video player and big desk. Also at the back.”

“I think ocean view suites are best. Some of the rooms are inside a large protacabin.”

“1. The hotel wifi was useless and waste of money. If you intend to use internet, the best thing will be to purchase a modem and a local data sim card. there is a shop that you can access from the hotel. I spent $25 in total for a week and had fast accees to internet in the hotel and within Dili. 2. there are very limited choices for vegetarians for dinners so if you are staying more than a couple of days, suggest eating out. 3. Buffet breakfast at the hotel is excellent - lots of choices but bad luck if you are looking for gluten free options! 4. watch out for mosquitos- you may need to ask staff to spray the room each day after cleaning so the residue smell is gone by the time you get back in the evening.”
