Every time visiting Dili, I love to dine on Hotel Timor specially on Sunday. They have Portuguese Buffet call Cozido. Mostly the food steamed & boiled. Variety food are beef, pork, chicken, fish and many of vegetable. Really yummy & healthy. Well presented with good service & Price reasonable.

My wife and I visited Dili, the capital city of Timor Leste this month. Upon advice of our local friend, we stayed at Timor Hotel, considered by locals to be the best hotel available in town. We decided to follow the suggestion to stay at this hotel, surely with high hopes. We decided to book the best room of the... More

This is a pretty nice and simple hotel. It is apparently one of the nice hotels in Dili. The service is pretty bad but I would agree it is above average for Timor standards. The hotel is 3 stories and doesn't have a lift nor concierge service so be prepared to carry your luggage up at least one flight of... More

The hotel is swish in spots: the lobby and the dining area, and spartan in other spots: flights of stairs, the fire escape access to pool. Pleasingly, my room was large and sprucely clean, and the staff tidied it beautifully mid-stay. Breakfast was included in the tariff and there was plenty of it. Staff were helpful and friendly, although we... More

Stayed a week at this hotel. Nice spacious rooms. Good air con. Ample facilities. Staff were great. Helpful. Ideal central Dili location. No irons in rooms and slowish Internet were my main issues. Otherwise a roomy hotel with a colonial feel.

For those who want to stay at the hotel for business purpose, this hotel is a good one. The location is strategic and it provides a good lobby for meeting up. Unfortunately, the hotel has no lifts and the guests need bell boys to bring the luggages to the second floor or above.

The hotel is old but nicely furbished, with large restaurant and bar areas. Room was very good and spacious, though noisy from the kitchen exhaust at the back, fortunately it was turned off at night. Insulation should be improved, but keep the wood windowframes as they give the hotel a lot of personality. Food is Portuguese with a homemade taste.... More

Stayed for 2 nights recently and enjoyed the stay: service was very good but slightly noisy due to room facing main road. Pool is good size and hotel have a decent restaurant too.... Small complaint: room cleaner did not replaced soap / shampoo etc after used!

We stayed this hotel for a meeting. The hotel is located in the central area close to the shopping and sightseeing. Need improvement in of the hotel. The hotel looks bit old. Enjoyed our stay and it was my first experience in Timor Leste.

Classic hotel and landmark - which had been through tight political times and been the epicenter of peace, as well as pretty pretty productivity as East Timor went from Portuguese rule to Indonesian invasion - To current times of sovereignty. You can feel the buzz and history of this emerging nation in this hotel. It's still a decent value and... More
