The hotel is getting very tired. Built by vietnamese investors about 15 years ago who knew nothing about damp-course, the plastered ceilings and walls are crumbling, and the plumbing fittings are on their last legs. Lots of gaps for mosquitoes to get through too. The rooms don't have any tea/coffee making facilities but do have a fridge. No drinking water... More

Has a variety of rooms including deluxe rooms with refrigerators, sink, and the potential for a gas stove and shared rooms. Wi-fi throughout the property. Lively restaurant-bar attached with multiple TVs and a sports bar like atmosphere. Excellent book exchange. Was a convenient place to stay when I had to spend a night in Dili between destinations or before a... More

I have been to this establishment a few times in the last 8.5 years and it hasn't changed one bit, same menu as 8.5 years ago. Last time I was there I was glued to the throne for 2 days and had to take it easy for the following 2 days, trust me,there are better places to eat

Comfortable basic hotel, but by no means luxurious. Ensuited rooms with shower and WC. Internet. Some rooms a bit noisy due to the covered veranda area being bar&restaurant + live entertainment some nights. Fee / night includes basic breakfasr( eggs oozed however you wish!) daily laundry also included ( great service!) Swimming pool onsite. On the main beach road, so... More

Having lived and stayed in many hotels in many countries I'm used to basic accommodation not always perfectly clean but I have never stayed anywhere as dirty as the Dili Beach Hotel. The room I stayed in had been given a rudimentary brush and the bed sheets may have been clean (or may not) but the bathroom quite obviously hadn't... More

Thanks to our Fijian host at the Dili Beach Hotel bar. A few great nights were had and some really good people were met. I thoroughly recommend thus spot as a first port if call to help anyone settle in to the town

Dili is not a cheap city to stay in, although the Dili Beach is not the cheapest budget accommodation at this present time with the closure of the East Timor Backpackers, I think it offers the best value for money. Their 20 dollar Backpacker room is like a small apartment for 4 people with a good sized bathroom, kitchen, sitting... More

Dili Beach Hotel is something of a landmark in Dili - and back in the day this was a popular choice for the NGO crowd. However today it is pretty poor - the standard and deluxe rooms are shabby, only the self contained bungalows at the back are worth considering, but only if you haggle a discount. The bar is... Dili Beach Hotel has a charm I don’t find at any other hotels in Dili. It’s not one of those new, slick places you find everywhere, but a family hotel with history, and warmth. Yes, I do like it. I started travelling to Dili 20 years ago, lived here a few years and have spent quite some time at hotels... More
