Very nice boutique hotel with nice view over the sea. Small but cosy, full of nice decorations inside. Room design is artistic, but very comfortable, nice big bed. Hotel is clean and staff nice. Very good and tasty breakfast, good bar with good choice of drinks.
The whole hotel needs a refreshement. Walls inside and outside need some work. Tv in the room and the available channels is 0/10. There is no water available in the spa area. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. The dinner was below average - would not eat there again. This is not a 5 star hotel and i will not return. Vinko the white shirt captain 5/5
A boutique hotel with 40 comfortable rooms overlooking the sea. The room rate includes breakfast where you are positively encouraged to eat as much as you can from either the buffet table or the menu, which included oysters. bruschetta with tomatoes, omelettes, eggs Benedict to name but a few. There is a small pool which we didn’t use as the terrace had steps leading to the sea with crystal clear water. Very comfortable loungers but sadly our European friends lay their towels down on the most comfortable ones before breakfast and despite the 45 minute non attendance removal rule we didn’t see this policed. Paddle boards and sea kayaks were provided with a small charge to enjoy the coastline which was mainly beautiful until we came across a nudist bay with mainly old men. The food in the hotel was excellent and the sister hotel 5 minute drive away did the most amazing tuna carpaccio fresh sea bass and pizzas. The neighbouring village of Volosko is a quiet fishing village with several excellent restaurants. Whilst we were there the world champion Croatian wind surfing champion returned home and was welcomed with a band and flares which added to the atmosphere. Each day we were greeted by the local wind surfing school practicing in the early morning Tramontana. The one thing that made Hotel Navis so special were the staff. Not too formal but very attentive happy and engaging. If I could be at all critical it would be the lack of staff around the sun bathing area to serve drinks but that was only on a couple of occasions. Apart from that we could not recommend this hotel more highly.…
We really loved our stay here. You can’t beat the location, the very friendly staff especially ar breakfast (Marin and Patrik) . It’s a joy to sit on the balcony or terrace watching the sea, to dive in the illuminated sea at the pier and also to see how clean the rooms were. Two points which could be better: - the staff should pay more attention to blocked sun loungers. Unfortunately there are not enough sun loungers and bean bags for all guests. And there were many sun loungers and bean bags which were blocked but not used longer than one hour. - while the waiters in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive about wearing the Covid mask their both male bosses (male waiters in white shirts) were really bad role models. One chef waiter had the mask the whole week only way beneath his chin inside and outside and was often busy with his own cell phone. The other chef waiter didn’t even bother to wear a mask at several days. This didn’t give us trust in the Covid awareness we expected in this hotel.…
After a long trip in Istra, we stopped in Opatija to finish our trip. The hotel Navis has an amazing view. We tried the sauna and outside pool and the whole experience was restful. The staff at the reception was so nice and helpful and very well organized. The food is really good but it looks like it's not finished(except breakfast) it's just on the plate and that's it, nothing interesting. the room service menu does not have any good options. Breakfast has amazing choices. We tried almost everything and it was so good. All the staff was classy and polite. All in all, it was nice.
We got a long weekend in this hotel with 2-2 massage and 2 times 4 course and 1 time 7 course dinner menu. The hotel is not so big but very friendly and the room is amazing, has a beautiful view to the sea. The roomes are qiute and clean tha staff are friendly and helpful. Spa has only a sauna and a small outdoor pool, but the view takes everything. Massages were just perfect. The food should get 5 stars. Tasty, elegant, high quality. The only “problem” that is takes 2-2,5 hours to have the dinner. But you should be patient! We will come back for sure
Good things first: we liked the rooms generally, they are in a darker tone, but cosy and all of them have a balcony and see view. The walls between rooms are full concrete and probably part of the building structure and they greatly reduce the sound from neighbours. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpfull to. Now the really really bad things and where it definitely doesn't deserve five stars: First, the parking is free. That's true. But they don't say you that there are less parking lots than rooms and if you don't find a parking lot, you are out of luck because you can't park in a street further, it is impossible and forbidden. A serious concept failure because there is no public transportation to this hotel. Second: the breakfast was a breakSLOW. There is no selfservice, you have to wait for the waitress and the stuff had a lot to do when all people come to the breakfast. I ordered an omelette and it was very tiny, small and very poorly presented on the plate, without any vegetable. You have to wait even for a coffe refill or juice because the waitress had a lot to do by serving all people one by one. I regret that I forgot to make pictures of the omelette I got (I was there with my wife and two children) but the breakfast is comparable to a one star hostel and not this kind of a hotel. If breakfast is important to you (it is for me because I paid for it), this is the wrong hotel. All in all, they can't change the chaos with the missing parking lots, but the breakfast is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this category.…
Out of the city in a calm part of a gulf, it represent a good solution for nice stay. Knit and clean it has a good restaurant. Skilled waiters and service. TOP restaurant with delicious plate, sea foods and meat. 5 meters of beach, car parking.
From the moment we stepped in experienced a brilliant service in this well designed Hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable bed, food is very tasteful. The view is breathtaking. Overall an excellent stay, thank you!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights (18-21 October) in a superior suite. The suite was very comfortable and has a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel only had a few customers and we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The hotel food was very tasty (highly recommend the chili and prawn bruschetta and the granola with yogurt and lime at breakfast). The service was very good too. We had massages at the spa and used the sauna. The views of the water are serene and calming. We walked to the neighbouring town of Volosko for dinner at the amazing Tramerka (great steak and seafood).
