Very nice rooms and close to everything in the city. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. Had a very good buffet also!! I believe there was even a casino right next door. Highly recommended!!

Excellent value for money. Wellnes is brand new with panoramic sauna. Food is very good and there is a lot of options for everybody. Facilities are new and service is nice and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and half board in the midlle of summer season was aprox. 200€ per room.

Grand hotel Adriatic is excellent. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful, specifically at reception, restaurant, aperitiv bar and wellness. We definitely recommended Hotel Adriatic, when you are in Opatija. Stane K.

Part of this hotel was recently renovated and now has 4* while the old part is treated as 3*. We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are spacious, clean, but somethings need to be renovated. Nothing big.. Breakfast was good, you can get eggs, pancakes, fruits, bread.. I was suprised how good dinner was (be aware it changes from day to day), but the big minus is that beverages are not free. Even water, which in Croatia you can really drink tap water, was charged. Staff.. God... they need some training on people skills. No smile, no greeting, receptionist had that face as if we are bothering her, and the guy in front of the hotel (in most hotels that same guy would open your car doors, greet you etc.)- nothing. Hardly even said hello and goodbye after we greet him first. Spa is on the 8th floor and is really nice. You have view on Rijeka city, you can watch the sea from the sauna. Very nice. All in all, if you're looking foor a clean hotel and not to pricey and that has also a spa..this is your choice.

First off, this was my 3rd visit to Opatija. And my worst hotel experience. I stayed for 8 days. The main reception hall is very nice and kinda fools you into believing that the rest is equally great. But it isnt! Most of its facilities are below expectations. Here are some of my thoughts about this hotel: - the pool: big and no salty water. But it is on the other side of the street and shared by 3 hotels!! So its very crowded -the food: very monotone. Not alot of specialities. Below expectations for the price. Especially boring for vegetarians and a big no go for vegans!!! -the rooms: old fashioned wood and smelly carpet all over. It looks dated and smells like its from a time when smoking was allowed indoors. The airco was quite bad.. -There is no Gym -The Spa/Sauna is very small and next to the indoor pool. Thus lacking privacy and constantly filled with kids, sauna tourists and people who should not be there! Super annoying -expensive parking + the live music in the evening was great I do not recommend this hotel. Opatija has better options for this kind of money
