Hotel Alhambra and it’s staff is like a family to me. I stay there twice a year for the last four years. This year the hotel group hired a new ceo and in early June although with a confirmed booking at Alhambra I was forced to move to Bellevue which is not the same while the new ceo is staying at Alhambra himself with his wife. I complained to him repeatedly by email because I think his experience is confined to big cities and not to a special location like losinj. He ignored my emails and took it as offensive. He had a meeting with me at Bellevue wherein he threatened me that I will be not allowed to Alhambra ever. On this he is finally a man of his words. Although I had a confirmed booking the front desk lied and said the property is fully booked which it wasn’t. I tried to apologise personally by email and by phone but he twisted these attempts as harassment and even threatened to call the police if I ever appear at any of the losinj hotels. This is a personal vendetta which is uncalled for and I have the staff who supports me over the years. This is really a tragedy of epic proportions in the hotel industry. I have sent emails and WhatsApp messages to support this review and I would be happy to share it with anyone if so required,…
We stayed at the Alhambra for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel’s three buildings are beautiful and elegant, and there is a lot of attention to the small details. Rooms were spacious with nice decor. The staff did a great job - they were friendly, smiling and attentive at all times. The hotel just has a fantastic vibe and feels very private, while also having direct access to the beautiful Cikat bay. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant “Alfred Keller” and enjoyed it very much - the food was of high quality and nicely presented. The Alhambra is highly recommended, and definitely the best luxury hotel in Croatia.
Having cruised the Adriatic we fell in love with Mali Losinj. The Cikat Bay is superb with beaches bush walks sun area & shade to complement the warm (salty) waters. I am jealous of residents who can spend some time at this place / in this area. When I return in my yacht (I wish) this will be where I aim to drop anchor (out), & spend lazy days.
One of the most amazing places we visited. From the architectural details to the service offered, to the rooms, the Restaurant, the spa and the beach...everything is simply unique. Our favorite place!!! TOP+
This secluded luxury small hotel is extraordinary. It’s faultless - perfection. One of the finest I have ever stayed in amongst hundreds of top hotels in my lifetime. The location is fantastic, quiet beauty. The service level is incredibly good top to bottom. The rooms, the spa, the breakfasts on the terrace. I loved it! Management knows how to do it right.
