Unfortunately I expected a lot more - and I was pretty glad to leave. The exchange of e-mails beforehand worked pretty good. But: - dinner (fish of the day) takes about 2 hours - the advertize that French, English and German is spoken, yet nobody speaks nor understands anything but French; when I asked for someone speaking English, I was, very rudely, told that this is a French-speaking country; speaking English you were ignored by the staff - very dirty (beach tables, chairs, cars)

If you don't expect a 5-star-hotel you gonna love this place. Close to the airport (pick up worked perfectly fine), right at the beach and a fantastic owner who can tell lots of stories. Will be back!

Hi, great stay on a first visit to Ivory Coast. 1. Airport pick up - when landing at 1130pm first time in a country its great to avoid the local airport taxis. 2. Water in room - arrived after checkin closed but shown to room and large bottle of water there which saved buying at inflated price at the airport. 3. They have espresso coffee 4. The owner is German and works for humanitarian organization around middle east and africa and is great to chat with. 5. Room was spotless, air con worked. 6. Location - sits between Grand Bassam town and the city which makes both accessible if short on time. Its 20-mins roughly to either (city is west and Grand Bassam east) and the hotel staff flagged a taxi and got lower than the expected foreigner rate. Many thanks if I come back I will definitely stay here.

We went there for a day with our 2 kids and friends and really enjoyed our time. Facilities were clean (pool, toilets, garden, beach area) and staff welcoming. The owner gave us a tour of the place so we could see the rooms. We found them nice: not luxurious but acceptable in terms of furniture and set-up. What we liked the most was the atmosphere. Place is small, which is perfect when you have small children 'cause they never lose your sight. The spa/hammam is an invitation to relaxation and wellness. The food was good. No complaints there either. The only issue was that wifi was not working. Then again, when you go for a beach gateway, the absence of connectivity really helps to get away ;) We'll definitely go back!

3.5 stars. clean and comfortable accommodations just steps away from the ocean. nothing fancy but it has everything you could possibly need for a restful break--restaurant, massage service, beach front seating for the best people watching as well as the relaxing sights and sounds of the sea. a great break from the hustle and bustle of abidjan. free airport transfers are helpful, especially for visitors who don't know how to get around. best of all is the management and owners--friendly, patient when it came to answering all my questions, full of useful information and really accommodating! as a solo female traveler, i felt really safe there and was able to unwind after a busy work trip. the only negative-spotty wifi. i would love to go again the next time i find myself in abidjan!
