We stayed here because we were scoping out Gateway National Recreation Area which is nearby in Sandy Hook and The Blue Bay Inn came up as a top choice in the area. I think because there are very few hotels in the immediate area, they can charge a little more at the Blue Bay. The hotel and rooms are nicely...

We were here for business and the stay was very nice. Old school hotel with classic charm. Quaint is a very appropriate word for this hotel. Staff was friendly and our room was ready. Parking is granted through a pass on the municipal lot behind the hotel, this might be a problem during peak season. Plenty of restaurants nearby and...

I guess I am posting this review because of expectations not completely met. For the price and the hype I had some things that really bothered me. Overall this hotel is cute, clean, charming and in an amazing location. I was in room 214 and the room itself was large, the bathroom was big and the bed extremely comfortable. Here...

My husband, son and I stayed at the Blue Bay Inn over Presidents Day weekend. We stayed in a King Suite. It was well worth the extra $$ to have the privacy so our 1 year old could sleep in a separate room to us! The room was large and clean. Wish they offered breakfast! It was a short drive...

We have been here twice now, and having lived in NYC previously, I would not stay anywhere else. We enjoy the ferry to Manhattan, stops conveniently downtown or mid town# The hotel is spotless, large comfortable rooms with very comfy beds. Tea and coffees 24/7 in reception. Lovely people who are very helpful working here too. The situation is quiet...

I stayed at the Blue Bay Inn last weekend for one night. The location is incredibly convenient, nearly across the street from the Seastreak Atlantic Highlands ferry terminal. It's also located on a nice road with a lot of shops and restaurants. The service was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, and while it was nice, I wouldn't go so far as to say it was lovely, or even divine. For one thing, I booked the hotel at $170 a night and then never received a receipt. I called to confirm our booking, but never confirmed the price. I was later charged $210 a night, in...

Rooms are spacious. Front desk great. Walking distance to ferry. Great restaurants all around. perfect either in the summer or winter. In the summer hotel close to the beaches. Blue bay is also great in the winter for a fun weekend with your spouse.

Attention to detail throughout the property, from the moment you step from a lovely courtyard into the elegant and contemporary lobby to the art-filled hallways and the well appointed, clean and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

This is a gem of a find in Atlantic Highlands. We wanted somewhere within easy reach of NYC without having to pay New York prices. This place ticks all the boxes. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with large rooms and comfortable king sized beds. All rooms have a balcony and pleasant outlook. There are various teas and coffees available...
