Haven’t been to Atlantic City in some time. Just got back from a weekend trip and have to say it was top shelf all the way. You couldn’t ask for better, everyone was friendly, issues sorted out quickly, everything was clean from the rooms to the floor to the restaurants. So much fun at the tables with their staff. They have earned new customers in my friends and myself. We are all in our 30’s.

Resorts was a disappointing hotel. We stayed in the Ocean Tower for two nights. While the remote was wrapped in plastic, the dresser and nightstand were covered in dust so they certainly were not wiped down. They offered daily service but the touch services were never cleaned. I couldn’t tell if the carpet was worn or not clean. Sheets had holes and stains. The furniture was worn. The room was comped. I do not know what the daily rate was but it certainly would not have been worth it. The proximity to kid friendly activities, decent restaurants and elevators that never arrived full is this hotel saving grace.

My wife and I travelled with my in laws to Atlantic City for a quick 2-day trip. We were unable to book a hotel in advance so upon arrival we began our search for a hotel stay. We stopped into several hotels (Bally’s, Holiday Inn, Caesar’s Palace, Tropicana) But the cost per night was outrageously expensive once you factored in resort fees plus taxes and fees ($400/night) . We ended up stopping at Resorts Casino Hotel and got what we thought to be a great rate. Their computer system was down at the time so we could not check in right away. I then quickly booked online (through booking.com on my phone) and went to the check in desk. We waited an hour and a half to check in (that’s how long the system took to come back on) . But once the computer systems were back up, we had early check in and headed up to our room (Room 264) Now online I was able to book an Ocean Tower Deluxe King Room But because we were celebrating two special occasions (my in laws wedding anniversary and my mother in laws birthday) the front desk graciously upgraded our room to an Ocean Tower junior suite. This room consisted of two queen beds, two bathrooms (one full one half), a small living room area, two large closets, bedside tables and a small dining area. The room was beautiful and spacious! Due to the hotel being “booked”, ocean view rooms were not available so the view from our room was of the roof of the connecting building and of the windows of the adjacent hotel tower. Needless to say we kept our curtains drawn the whole time to avoid having that awful view. Resorts hotel is right on Atlantic City’s boardwalk and so there were always things to see and do within walking distance. Ripley’s museum was nearby and the amusement park on the pier was right in front of the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel one evening at Dougherty’s Steakhouse and raw bar (opting to dine on the Raw Bar side as they has live music that evening) Dinner for 4 ran us about $300. Which included appetizers, drinks and main courses. Our waitress was delightful. All in all for a short trip we were very pleased with the service at the Resorts hotel and would definitely stay there again.

When we arrived we got our first room It was filthy the furniture was wet and there was black handprints all over the wall above the bed . After getting the key to the second room which was nicely appointed. Not the cleanest I’ve ever seen but with a little Lysol and Lysol wipes we did well. I was missing some jewelry and I realized one of our doors to our suite was left unlocked by the housekeeper it’s a different kind of exit door and it was left unlocked it wasn’t even secured all the way and we did not know that I have been on the phone with security and risk management and have gotten nowhere . I was offered a $50 food credit in exchange for $3000 tennis bracelet I did not take the food credit however they’re supposed to get back to me nor was I offered a free stay or anything. We have stayed everywhere in Atlantic City except for the Borgota and the Claridge those are the two places we have never stayed. I will never stay at resorts hotel again. I made a grave mistake. They do not want to take responsibility for anything..I’m going to be contacting an attorney that way I was treated. The fact that our stuff was exposed from any time from 2:30 to 10:30 at night is ridiculous.I’m appalled At the way they handled things. If you want a nice vacation stay away from the Resorts .

first it has no bearing on the resorts casino. however the trip down from long island was horrible ,took over 4hrs. traffic, traffic, traffic. finally after arriving a resorts we booked in with no problem. we booked with a host, room 361. the room was clean a mini suite with 1 1/2 baths. we hit the casino right away, couldn't wait after being lock down after the virus..the one thing i would want to exprees is that every employee at the casino that we encounted were very helpful and courteous, especially the waitress at the epic lounge who couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied at the lounge. we finally went up to our room 361 and called it a night.. i did not notice this earlierbut this huge air conditioner unit was humming outside our room ...i open the curtains and their she was a maasive conduit unit that was humming and banging ... we tried to sleep but was tough.finally feell a sleep at about 1:00 am. apprx. 3:00 am was awoke by two large dogs barking in the next room it was unbelivable. it continued for at least 10 min..all i could relate to was the movie UNCLE VINNY... couldn't get back to sleep.. the room was a cheap hotel . experience..how could they book this room to anyone..
