Flagship resort is a place where they are saved by the location. If you are looking for a super clean, updated, upscale destination... this is not it. However I would challenge anyone coming to Atlantic City to couch their expectations. The city is well known for having a big downturn over the last 20 - 30 years, and only recently has there been some revitalization. However if you can be like me and enjoy yourself because of the location near the end of the boardwalk.... then you should have a great time. The hotel provides everything you need from a necessity standpoint as long as you can overlook the flaws (of which there are many). I do feel sorry for the owners who have to spend $900 a year on maintenance as it seems to not be paying for much. However as a timeshare owner who trades to come to this location, it fits my needs. I live nearby in Philadelphia so for me this provides an easy fun vacation. However if this is to be the highlight of your year... you should't be coming to AC anyway. Find some place better.…
This is a great resort is you plan to take kids with you on your weekend getaway! There's something for the whole family to do - so no one feels left out! I've been visiting this resort for 17 years and I never get bored coming.
This place was a disappointment. I am a timeshare owner. I exchanged one of my weeks to stay. The room assigned initially was unappealing & unrenovated & furnished with older wooden furniture. I inspected the bathroom & the appearance of the tub made me want To cancel my stay. I went downstairs to the front desk & complained. Initially, I was told they were sold out. After showing how distasteful & unappealing the bathtub was, I was reassigned another room. Grab the new key, went upstairs only to be further disappointed that this place has not been upgraded in a while. Not even close to the luxury & comfort offer at other timeshare resorts. To add insult to injury, because I d/n own there, at their property, I wasn’t considered an owner. So there were no special perks. This gets even more insane,.... their sales department has the audacity to contact me asking me to go on a timeshare sales tour. ABSOLUTELY INSANE!! Management really needs to rethink their policy. I will never return/exchange a unit here ... Ever Again. Pool small. dank & filled with young children. I’m the midst of winter, no place for adults to relax.. Really bad hospitality.…
Rooms are shabby. The elevator hardly works and when it does, it's slow. Staff is rude and uncaring. They closed the parking deck while we were there, and parking on the street was very limited. Handicap parking was non-existent and they didn't care. Plus it's in a sketchy part of town.
I used an banked week that was going to expire. My daughter got married and her and her husband went for a few days. I drove down (live about 40 miles) check in on Friday November 1. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. The garage was closed for the week. Which made parking a nightmare. Daughter arrived Saturday night and the lot they were to use was full and they had to park on the street. Almost a block away. They found out the pool heater was broken so the indoor pool was to cold to use. The hot tub was not hot. The unit was clean. Unit 1403. The balcony door was extremely hard to open. View was ok. They left Monday and My husband, Mom, Grandchild and I drove down Tuesday to finish the week. We were grossed out when a roach ran across our bed. Went down to the front desk and again they did not care. Their solution was to call security. The bed was awfully old and outdated. And probably a full size. The restaurant was closed TUES&WED. We bought sandwiches fruit salad and reg salad from the cafe. Young lady working had was rude and the sandwiches were stale and fruit salad was old. Reg salad seemed fresh. By Wednesday the pool was still not completely fixed. It was still very cold. The hot tub was warm. Trying to cook in the unit was a joke. The best thing about this place was the activities department. Liz was awesome. The projects she did with Everyone was fun and my Granddaughter had the best time in the fun zone. We wound up checking out early. I told the front desk again about the roach issue. The one girl just said gross. And the other said they would take care of the issue. If anyone asks me if I recommend this resort I would firmly have to say NO! What a disappointment. …
