I spent one night here and it's really clean with an awesome roof top terrace and they organise activities which is good to meet other travelers however I wasn't a fan of their prices or what they charged for. 5,000 to leave your bag while you go to Minca for a night? 850,000 for lost city hike when it actually...

Amazing atmosphere. Great staff, great location, and they have nice events lined up thru the week. The down side to santa marta is all parties end at 1am but maybe that's good for some. I found it to be a bit annoying because everything literally dies. Highly rexommend this hostel though .

has everything you need, great roof top bar and pool. very clean. Travel agent based at the front brilliant, so helpful. One thing to change if you book for additional night if they could let you stay in the room instead of having to check out at 11 and check back in at 3pm. other than that great!

The hostel was great, but it ended up being the most expensive place we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Colombia while it was also the only time we stayed in a dorm. So yes, it is cool, but it is very expensive - you can find a room for 2 for less money than you pay here for...

They do a great job accommodating backpackers and travelers. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The roof top pool is great - wish we could have had more time to enjoy it. Definitely a bit of a younger crowd, but that's expected.

Masaya Hostel is a lovely old house in the centre of town. We had a good private room just beside the small pool. It was good but only a very small wndow. They also have dorms and many backpackers in the hostel, so if you don't like backpackers - don't go there. Otherwise I can really recommend the place even...

I booked a few nights here arriving into Santa Marta having been recommended by a friend and would definitely pass that on. The rooms are great - even the largest dorms have air con and individual fans in the beds. The rooftop bar and plunge pool is the perfect place to unwind after any treks to the Lost City or...

What a wonderful stay we have had at this hotel! More close to an hotel than a Hostel, we have stayed there with my wife, while travelling on the north coast of Colombia. There is an activity every evening on the rooftop and does not bother with noise among the whole hotel. The hotel is based on the perfect place...

Great facilities with two pools and an awesome rooftop. Nice bar and decent breakfast. They charge for luggage storage, even if it is just on the day of check out. Don't think that is necessary but great hostel overall

the price they wanted to charge for a double room was way higher then the price on their website! In the end we got it for the latter but it took quite some effort. Some rooms are rather dark, some are beautiful and bright. Bed was comfortable, aircon silent, breakfast okay- ish, pool on the roof terrace - but not much...
