Loved this hostel very much. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by none other then Oscar himself. He was definitely a highlight of my trip. Extremely charismatic, helpful, informative, made me feel extremely comfortable. The view is quite impressive, but gets even more amazing during sunset hours. Anytime I'm back in Minca, I will surely stop by.

Very isolated place, ideal for people looking for great view and quite time. Oscar and his wife are very nice, the dorms are great. Notice that the place has no wifi or electricity, but this is part of the experience. I enjoyed my short time there.

If you're going to be travelling in Santa Marta, Oscars place is the best place to stay in Minca! It's landscaping and design is the best I've seen in a hostel in 4months of travelling in Santa Marta, the cleanliness is 5* and what makes this place so special is not only the open hammock rooms which give u amazing...

We spent 1 night here at Oscar's and were a little disappointed at how run down the buildings and garden were. Oscar and Sandra were lovely hosts, but they do have several dogs which woke us up in the night with their loud barking. We stayed in the loft which is very small with no electricity, maybe the hammocks would...

Just an amazing place in the perfect location. We went there for an alternative to casa elemnto who was booked, and so glad we did. The view is so amazing and the sunset one of the best I saw in my year long trip! And as for the place itself, the rooms were comfy, the common area was rain protected...

Well, first of all the most important thing: the breakfast "Oscars special" was incredibly tasty!!! After my days started with this good service, I've spent a lot of my time just relaxing in the hammocks, reading my book and listening to the noises of the nature and to Oscars words of wisdom ;-). The view is amazing and the sunsets...

Definitely love the place. A real gem. Feel like being privileged to even unpack here. Stunning view and laidback atmosphere. Private rooms seemed a little narrow. Best shower with open view ever seen. Oscar's granola especial is to die for.

All I can say is wow. This place is a little bit of heaven . Never mind casa elemento for relaxation...... This is the haven for relaxation. Amazing views, such a tranquil environment and such a beautiful setting. It is out of this world. The place is spotless and has such a wide variety of accommodation options which are all...

We spent a night in the private bungalow. There was also dorm room, hammocks, a loft room on offer. If you are a Resort traveller or less adventurous then be under no illusions. The place is rustic, there is no wifi, there is no lunch and dinner food (ordered in through a restaurant and prices for this are a little...

Slice of paradise! Go to Oscars for the most authentic, unique experience you'll have in Minca! Be prepared for about a ten minute hike up the mountain to his place so try to get there the first time before sundown. Be prepared to spend the night in the most beautiful place ever surrounded by mountains and fresh air. This is...
