What a gem of a bed and breakfast! I just took a full tour by the very gracious host and owner, Felipe after my friend Ivonned recommended it as one of the best in Santa Marta. Such a beautiful property with perfectly designed and decorated rooms. A romantic and relaxing charm permiates the entire space. I give it 5 stars...

Casa Amani is a real jewel. The bedrooms are all well kitted out with excellent bathrooms and showers and flat-screen TV and mini-bar, but all these things don't capture the love and taste that has been poured into the restoration of this small colonial house in the centre of Santa Marta. The large communal living and dining area has a...

Walking into Amani is like entering a parallel universe wherein the midst of the city you can find a place to rest and enjoy the pleasures life can bring you. Healthy breakfast, very comfortable rooms and the company of people from around the world are the minimum aspects you can enjoy at Amani. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately the pool was shut when we arrived but the courtyard setting was a lovely respite from the hot busy streets outside. The location was central and what made our stay was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They allowed us to leave out bags there when we headed off on the lost city trek and off to tayrona...

As a well travelled woman and someone who has stayed over five different visits in Santa Marta for business, I was completely impressed with the outstanding service and disposition of the owner and staff of the Hotel Casa Amani. If I needed a baby sitter, a masseuse, fresh fruit, or any other exta detail -- it was met with the...

I had an amazing time with my friend at Casa Amani. It really felt like home away from home... if my home contained a central courtyard jacuzzi, was filled with cool art, and had hammocks hanging around everywhere :) No seriously, this is a peace of heaven on earth, don't miss it if you ever go to Santa Marta!

A beautiful, magical and intimate retreat - imbued with grace. Elegantly decorated. Casa Amani is a wonderful expression of Felipe's gracious qualities as a host - and he is an excellent resource to help discover the jewels of the area. Highly recommended. I would return whenever I am in Colombia....

I stayed three nights in Casa Amani, and felt completely recharged at the end of my stay. Entering Casa Amani is a transporting experience: a gorgeous colonial house which owner Felipe Camargo has adapted brilliantly to the functions of a B&B and made more beautiful still with artifacts that he has gathered from around the world. Felipe's vision of promoting...
