Great location and really nice staff, which gladly helped with a variety of stuff during our stay. Breakfast is good too and the rooms are clean and neat. We had four nights in this place separated by a trek to The Lost City, and they offered to store our big bags during our trip.

The room was great, big and confortable with a great air conditioning. A good breakfast. The staff was very atencious and helpfull, I had a knee problem there, so they gave me ice cubs everyday to put on it.

It was by far not the cheapest hotel in the area, but it is the area itself. The room was air conditioned but lacked a table and chair, end tables and lamps, had to sit on bed to watch the TV. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and by taxi $3 to any of the other...

Couldn't fault my stay at San Miguel Imperial. We arrived late but they were ready to check us in. Complimentary breakfast was welcome. Wi-Fi fast. And they allowed us to store our luggage free of charge while we completed the Lost City hike. Well recommended quick base in Santa Marta.

Hotel is well placed for main pedestrian street with bars and restaurants. Other highlights include a roof terrace, decent wifi connection and shower was big enough for a European. Helpful and friendly staff with some English. Can get day tours to Tayrona and Minca from front desk. Main downside was noise from slamming doors and marble corridors. Breakfast was always...

The first time I stayed at this hotel was in 2013... After a year I went back and this year I managed to come back to Santa Marta and chose again San Miguel Imperial. The hotel is in a very central location within walking distance to main commercial areas, shopping centers and government institutions. Good price, good breakfast and good...

Nice hotel, very simple but clean and well located, about 5min walking to the city center. Staff is extremely helpful - especially the receptionist Diego who was very nice and helped us with all our queries, booking arrangements etc. We were lucky to have a room facing the courtyard, because the street is extremely noisy. I would go back again.

We visited this hotel on the way back to Cartagena. It was a very clean and safe place to stay. The front desk receptionist, Diego, took care of us. Not only did he accommodate all the families we were traveling with. He made sure to give us great recommendations on food and what to do in the area. The rooms...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in April and it was all good. The staff were on top of everything and were very friendly. The room was clean, the A/C worked, and the bathroom worked well. The wifi worked in the room which is always a plus. Breakfast is included and was as good as it gets at...
