The lodge was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was just lovely. The food was great, and it was nice to chat to others over dinner. It was easy to get to the national park from there.
Great place and location - rooms cleans and personnel always available for your needs- the only "negative" aspect is that all the meals are served in shared tables - so if you're looking for a romantic dinner face to face with intimate talks....forget it.
Loved this hotel. They do a really nice job with most everything. The communal dinners are a nice way to meet new people which we enjoyed. Location can't be beat. A highlight for sure.We stayed three nights which was a perfect length in my opinion. One day we visited the national park and the rest of the time we stayed on the property and enjoyed the pool, spa, beaches and surroundings.
Spending one night here was a completely amazing experience something to tell your friend and family when you are back from holidays Although maybe no everyone thinks the same. It was also nice having dinner with other guests sharing the table and having a good chat The views of this spot are wonderful I highly recommend this place
We couldn't have asked for a more romantic, relaxing place to spend a very low-key honeymoon. The cabana suite was perfect for us -- we loved sleeping to the sound of the waves. And we mostly spent our time lounging on hammocks, walking along beach, getting massages and swimming in a little pool where the river meets the sea. As previous reviews note, the food was really extraordinary -- although we found ourselves a bit taxed by so much conversation with fellow travelers at dinners given that we were honeymooning (but we knew that in advance, so it was what we signed up for). The staff were kind and helpful and worked with our limited Spanish (we managed to communicate fine). We found the place and overall experience magical and perfect for quiet time bonding and resting.
