This hotel is in the center of everywhere we wanted to visit. The hotel staff were very helpful with taxis, airport info, and excursions. The breakfast area is on the third floor with a view of the ocean.

The location is awesome - close to water and all the restaurants and square. The hotel looked nice from the lobby, but then i got to the room. There was a big bed and then a small single bed that was sloped....glad no one slept on that. There used to be teo bedside tables, but one appeared ripped from the wall...and the holes in wall weren’t filled in. The air conditioner made the air cooler, but not cool enough to be comfortable. The bathroom had hot water, but the shower pressure was a trickle. Things seem like they should be easy enough to fix up snd then the hotel could be decent. But it is definitely not a room you want to spend any more time in than sleeping. Having said that, the staff were nice and accommodating.

Simple hotel, good breakfast coffee, eggs, fruits, cereal, toast, juice at rooftop, staff are very friendly, rooms are a bit dated but it’s ok we didn’t have much complain because we were always outside exploring, hot showers we had, location is good, easily walking distance to lots of restaurants, beach etc. WiFi is slow, small grocery shop on corner of street to buy beer, water, chips to bring to room, and an awesome indoor market cross street of hotel to buy souvenirs. We enjoyed our stay.

It was my second time in this hotel. The price is ok but You get what You pay for. No fridge in the room no furniture just a bed. Staff is nice and breakfast very basic ( was much better last year) Very crowded and noisy when a group of young american ''adventurers'' arrive every week-end.

Hotel is in a great location and it's cheap; fine for our one night in Santa Marta before starting on the Ciudad Perdida hike. Don't expect anything nice though. The rooms are pretty basic. Breakfast on the rooftop is nice!
