What a great place! The facilities are safe secure and lots of fun. Plenty of places to chill or a great spot to party and make friends in between tours of the region. The staff are amazing and always available to assist in organising treks and tours. Rooms and dorms are perfect and are super clean, also offering AC in...

I stayed in The Dreamer Hostel mid March during my backpacking journey through Colombia. It was the best hostel I stayed in throughout the whole of Colombia. It was a really relaxed atmosphere with good food and nice people. The best thing was the pool in the middle of the hostel. The whole hostel was designed around it as a...

My husband and I stayed at The Dreamer four times in September, for a total of about 8 nights. While it's true that Santa Marta is perfectly located for accessing the Caribbean Coast, we found that The Dreamer deserved soooo much credit for making our travel on the area as enjoyable as it was. The Dreamer is perfectly located for...

Staff so friendly and helpful, good food all day in the bar/restaurant for a decent price, tours and shuttles organised, big well equipped kitchen. Good happy hour. Safe hostel as you can only get in by being buzzed in and security lockers big enough for a full backpack for each bed in the dorms. Cool swimming pool area with volleyball...

Dreamer almost feels like a hotel rather than a hostel with its amazing pool, great value restaurant and bar. A really social vibe and a great base to relax before/after trips to Tayrona, Lost City etc. We booked a deluxe dorm room for two nights and a standard dorm for the third which was only slightly cheaper - we hadn't...

We stayed here for one night after arriving to Santa Marta, before leaving to Tayrona Park. The hostel space is very lovely, however it is very condensed. The rather social bar is directly in front of the pool, which is only a few feet from the dining tables, which are beside the hammocks where people sleep, which are in front...

I'll start with the location as this was the most important thing worth noting about this hostel. It's also one of the best things. We found the old town of Santa Marta to be dodgy and not great, especially if you're arriving from Cartagena. Dreamers is located in Mamatoco, a nice suburb on the outskirts of Santa Marta and much...
