What a lovely place to stay in Santa Marta! We stayed after recommendations from our friends and would happily stay again. We had a poolside room on the ground floor, which was comfortable and clean. There was a safe and AC, though we were very comfortable with just the ceiling fan. Breakfasts was super yummy- fresh fruit, and freshly cooked crepes to order. There was a honesty bar to get drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcohol) while you relax by the pool. The pool and courtyard make for a beautiful environment to relax in- there is even a little hummingbird that flits about when it it quiet. There are some good spaces to accommodate larger groups- 8 of us gathered round a table to play some games in the evening. As with all tropical places- remember your mosquito spray! The owner helped organise trips to a local beach and gave recommendations for food.

We visited this hotel and was offered upgrade to a room with air-condition and view to the pool for a small amount . The owner is fantastic and have helped us organizing trips to Minca and Tayrona. Furthermore lovely recommendations for very local restaurants with delicious food . The hotel it self is amazing and well kept . The room is lovely and comfy beds . We would love to come back 😄😄😄

The courtyard makes this hotel remarkable. And, other things: lots of small cute alcoves, excellent breakfast, and JP's fantastic service. The staff were friendly and cheerful. Great internet. The only things that could be improved - better coffee (espresso) firmer mattress, newer/bigger towels, and shampoo/conditioner.

Brandnew hotel, very clean, nice rooms with A/C, fantastic pool. A little oasis in a quiet back road close to the center of Santa Marta for a sensational price. Go there. It is much more relaxing than the busy and cramped hotels in the center. The only shortcoming is the distance to the center, which is 1.3 km away. However, we used a taxi for 5 minutes at cost of € 1.5 (one ride) and had both: tranquillity in our hotel and hustle and bustle in the city. If we ever return to Santa Marta we will for sure stay in Camali!
