I stayed in room 813 in this hotel for three nights in March, 2019. The hotel is a good choice for a short period being located in the center of the city with easy access to all parts thereof. My major concern would have been noise but that was not an issue for me as my room was fairly high up and in a location away from the street such that my eardrums were not troubled. I will stay here again for a short period but will choose elsewhere for longer stays as I like to prepare my own food most times and, therefore, require a kitchen

Hotel Rooms are good size but have an "Old Feeling" that needs some updating. Located in good area for Museums and nice park. Rates of this Hotel are low and would be OK if you do not need 4 or 5 star.

Inspired by 1930s hotels in California and Florida, the Nutibara has well withstood the ages and where necessary updated its amenities. The location, then-and-now, could not be any better: central. And now near a metro stop, near the main museums, the Plaza Botero (and at the back) the airport shuttle bus. Hustle and bustle abound and around, with a lot of Botero sculptures a local and tourist draw. Super-friendly front desk staff, white-gloved servers at the breakfast buffet, and tour advisors.

Hotel is old but clean. Good location and easy walk to metro and several museums. With a bit of Lipstick this hotel could easily be a 3.5 or 4 star. But if you looking for inexpensive hotel then this may work just fine. They offer a breakfast but except for the coffee it is kinda pathetic.

Right in the the center of the city's hustle and bustle. From the minute you step out the front door you are exposed to the sounds, smells and sights of the busy day to day life of everyday Colombians surviving, working, selling their wares, shopping and hanging out. If you are not into that then this is not the place for you. But this is a small part of real life Medellin. It is also very crowded. We walked around this area a lot and never felt unsafe. The final stop for the airport bus is directly at the back of the hotel. The front desk and general staff were friendly and helpful, though only Edwin spoke English. The rooms are very large and clean. The beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast is included which consists of fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, eggs, bread, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Right across the street is the beautiful metro station stop Parque Barrio. Makes it so convenient to get around the city. Across the street is the lovely Plaza Botero and the amazing Museo de Antioquia.
