I loved my stay here. When I arrived the person at the front desk only spoke Spanish, but I was able to understand everything with the limited Spanish I knew. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the MetroPlus lines. I stayed in the 10 bed dorm, but it didn't feel cramped at all. The outlets weren't always...

There's a reason the prices are cheap: this hostel is directly in the flight path of Medellin's second airport. Constant air traffic! The hostel is inconvenient in relation to the famous metro too; no stop is close and so you must take taxis The hostel is also now dealing with an outbreak of bedbugs. I would recommend choosing another hostel.

Thanks for your comments, albeit they are one-sided. Constant air traffic? less than 1 flight per hour and most people like watching the small, domestic planes go by. There is a bus on the corner that takes you to the metro for $2000 pesos. All hostels have to deal with bed bugs. We are the only one fully equipped to...

International house is a fantastic change to the touristic neighbourhood of El Poblado. It is situated in a more residential neighbourhood meaning you have a grocery store and two gyms less than 5 minutes away. There is a big beautiful sports park right across the street where you can access a swimming pool, free outdoor gym, basketball courts and more....

Exelent treatment, and best friend to know! Near to the Unidad Deportiva de Belen, a place to do some workout, and meet new friends. The city is the best place on earth for stay and live. A very nice people, the best mood and the most beautifull woman.

This hostel was clean, the wifi worked and the bathrooms were fine. That's about all that I can say that's positive. We checked in at the same time as a huge group; this was just unlucky on our part. However, the hostel did not inform us of this booking when we made our reservation. On top of this surprise, they...

I don't know of any hostel or hotel that writes people to tell them who will be staying at the hostel during their stay. The group was a fantastic group from all over the world doing volunteer work in Colombia. Sorry you consider it bad luck to have met them. Everybody else had a fantastic time with them, including guitar...

This place has been great! So many accommodations & near to the mall & many others stores. We loved it! I would highly recommend to anyone traveling through this area! One of my favorites was the view from the kitchen on the top floor.

We are consistently the #1 Medellín hostel on tripadvisor! We are the only hostel in Colombia with a dedicated fiberoptic internet line. 30 megas! We are perfectly located n the geographical center of Medellin. All city attractions within 10-15 minutes! We are equidistant to all of it's major attractions - the antiguo centro historico, the new downtown and one of three party areas (el poblado), comuna 13 (electric stairs, aerial cable cars, and graffiti tour), Laureles (restaurants and bars), Calle 33 and Calle 70 (two authentic Colombia bar and restaurant districts), are all within 5-10 minutes by taxi, or 20 minutes in bus or metro.
