Casa Kiwi is a very clean and comfortable hostel with great amenities. Very organized. It is in the Poblado district which feels very safe and really close to great bars and restaurants (although this is the more expensive area of town). The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen, cinema room (with Netflix), small bar, really cool roof chill area with... More

I was sleeping here for 2 nights. The facilities are good. There is a place to chill with hamoks and also a roof with sofas, bar and pool. The stuf was really nice and helpful. A specially a girl name Angie was amazing helping me book flights and calling the company after having problems with the booking. She even joined... More

My partner and I stayed in a private room for 3 nights and loved it. The room was spacious, clean and had its own little balcony. The hostel attracts friendly travelers but isn't crazy partying - generally people walk 3 minutes to one of the crazier hostels (allows for a good night sleep if your not in the mood). Perfect... Nice vibe, many people but I had a feeling of being in very commercial place. I think that some of the places recommended in Lonely Planet feel so sure about their position that forget what's The most important. In my option workers should be a background for The Guests- here in few moments i had a different feeling. It's nice... More

Nice hostel, good bar area, tiny swimming pool haha I was expecting a proper pool with how it was described! Big enough hostel to meet people and be social or have your own space. Depending where you are staying, it may be a bit loud with the music sometimes but also they're good with turning off the music at a... More

This is clearly the best hostels I have been to in a while!! I stayed there for a week, I met new friends within the people staying there and even the staff. The pool table is a really nice place to gather and meet people !

One of my favourite hostels on my trip, so many good memories. Not the most "party" hostel in its area but very lively. The staff here were so nice. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here, rooftop bar where you can mingle and make new friends. You can organise loads of great tours from the reception. If I ever go back to... More

This hostel is a little expensive, but it has a TV-room, a bar, several lounge-areas, really great room standards, and the staff is great. It is also situated perfectly in the Poblado-area. The Poblado area is Medellins biggest party scene, but since the hostel is on the outskirts (though well within walking distance), you won't notice that fact if you... More

Great spot to spend your time while in Medellin. El Pablado is the spot and this is the hostel. I checked out at least 5 other hostels in person, and ended up staying here for 2 weeks (where does the time go?). Let's review shall we? -Location: prime time Pablado. And this place has 2 sweet decks - 1st level... More

Thanks Daniel! Your comment made my day. So glad you enjoyed your stay! "Petty review(s) of the staff...maybe some people can't hang." Right?? Too funny. Maybe they were referring to some employees from back in the day. Who knows. Either way, I'm glad you were well taken care of, that's the idea. Happy travels! More

We would give Casa Kiwi a "great", the rooms are nice, the Hostel really cool and most of the other Guests were really cool guys. The food we tried was fine. What was a little bit annoying was that the WIFI didn't worked in our room (Bambu was the name of our room as far as I remember). What was... More
