Really nice location, 5 minute walk from popular square with bars and restaurants. Metro station was a little bit far, 20 minutes walking. The hostel had a good provision of information about Medellin. At our arrival, the staff explained all hundreds of rules, nothing was allowed to do: no drinks in the room, no noise, no talking in the hallways... More

Clean and tidy hostel in El Poblado. We only stayed for one night and had booked it at the last minute. The hostel was more than acceptable for a bed for the night. Helpful guy on the desk recommended some good restaurants to check out.

Uncomfortable bed, noisy room, and poor atmosphere. The staff were okay, and the hostal was clean but that did not make up for the other shortcomings. Little furniture, and no where to hang out. I would not recommend this hostal unless the are no other options in the area. Location is good.

We tried to reserve a room at Tamarindo inn, but were given a room at hostel Tamarindo (same owner?). Tamarindo hostel is clean, but that's about all the positive there is. There is no hostel wibe, no real common areas, you only get out when the staff opens the door (all staff only speak Spanish). The rooms are noicy and... More

Staff are very friendly and nice. Perfect location. Upon arrival the woman gave us a cute little set of juice, candy and crackers. When we saw that there was no AC - we were worried it would be too hot but it was perfect because the trees provide good shade. Bathrooms are shared.

Great location close to all the bars and restaurants and about 15 min walk to metro. Nice kitchen, good wifi and decent sized double room...although bed wasnt very comfortable. Staff only speak Spanish but theres lots of info written in English. Would stay again

The staff here didn't seem friendly or helpful at first yet warmed up after a few days. The location is good and dorm very inexpensive. I slept well in the third floor dorm with the windows open and loved the tree branches hanging nearby. There are no rugs or creature comforts in this sparsely "decorated" hostel but no one played... The hostal is clean and the location is ideal for city trips and nightlife, there are supermarkets next to the hostal and many restaurants close by. However it can be noisy due to the busy road which is in front of the hostal. Overall great value for money

I think this is the worst hostel I have ever seen. Al the lights are switched off to save electricity, the commen room is just really sad and the staf has to onlook the door every time you want to go out. Don't waste your time here

I stayed here for almost a month as compared with the other options in the area for the same budget it was the best to me. It's in the very centre of the "Poblado" neighborhood, the most westernized and safe area - mostly populated by foreigners - with restaurants and night life. To go to the city old center, with...
