Our family of 5 recently enjoyed a wonderful four-night stay at Hotel Quadrifolio. Everything about this lovely boutique hotel in the center of Cartagena's historic walled city was perfect. Our high-ceilinged rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and cool, and always kept perfectly clean. The common spaces of the hotel are gorgeous and offer a peaceful retreat, even though the hotel is located in the heart of the walled city. Each morning we were served a luxurious and delicious breakfast at a long table, along with the other guests. (There are only seven rooms, so the hotel is always peaceful and never crowded.) The courtyard pool was wonderfully refreshing after a hot walking tour of the city. And, in the late afternoons and early evenings, we enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop deck. We spent six nights in this wonderful oasis escaping from the heat of Cartagena. The staff was very accommodating offering suggestions but not overbearing. Breakfast was included and delicious. They have 2 indoor sitting areas where you can go read. We really enjoyed our time there.

Hotel Quadrifolio was our last stop of our 7-day tour around Colombia and it did not disappoint! The hotel is comfortable and beautiful – as an art lover, I appreciated the attention to architectural detail and homage to colonial history that makes Cartagena unique. The staff too were incredibly friendly and attentive. Being central, we were able to walk to many stores and restaurants. It also felt very safe - you have to ring the doorbell to be let in (it never took more than 1 minute for someone to answer the door). Highly highly recommend!

From the second the accommodating staff open the door to this charming old colonial building and you walk in to the patio, you know you’re in for a treat. Beautifully restored, this eight room boutique hotel, is a retreat. Palm trees in the patio/foyer soften the light and beacon you to air condition rooms. A tastefully decorated room with cool stone floors cool your feet after the steamy Cartagena day.
The location makes It is easy to walk two blocks to the city wall and circle most of the way around the old city which avoids a lot of street congestion.
The breakfast, served at a long table in the recess of the patio, is superb.

Absolutely stunning property with amazing service. We had a four night stay and everything was perfect. The room is gorgeous, comfortable, spotless, quiet, and the AC is frigid, which is luxurious given Cartagena’s heat and humidity. The breakfast was superb. The fruit, coffee, and bread were on point, and the Cartagena Eggs were spectacular. We really enjoyed hanging out at the beautiful library and playing games in the afternoons. The best part of course was the staff: knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Special shout out to Hainia and Luis for all their help.

Wonderful boutique hotel, very well located. I was impressed because it met my expectations at all times. As soon as you cross the door, you perceive the elegance of the place, with such pleasant aromas, rooms decorated to the smallest detail. The very elegant, functional rooms with everything necessary to make our stay in Cartagena a true wonder. Very complete and varied breakfasts, impeccable attention from the waiters. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner, the cocktails prepared by Fernando were exquisite and the cleaning of the room, the change of towels and sheets, plus the cleaning of the room is very careful.

Just wow. Let me start off by saying that I actually live in Cartagena and on long weekends or special occasions I like to book a room with my girl at some of the nicer hotels around town.
The first thing that caught my attention was that when I arrived they greeted me by name. The checkin process was a personalized greeting by Dario the on duty manager, in a private living room space, something I hadn’t experienced before at another hotel.
The personalized service is just amazing, they even gave me a free upgrade to a spectacular suite on the second floor. The room is incredibly spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the room even has directv, and apple tv with Netflix preloaded. The internet speed is plenty fast, the AC can get the room very cold in no time. Eveytime I went downstairs I was greeted by a manager willing to help me out with anything I needed.
I definitely consider this to be a GEM of a stay especially when compared to other luxurious but far more expensive stays around town. Do not hesitate to book if you are looking for an authentic Cartagena experience!

We stayed for 3 nights to kick off our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. They gave us the best room they had, which was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Despite the old colonial style, the hotel came with modern amenities including an Apple TV and really good air conditioning. The service was fantastic, breakfast was delicious (included), and we really had no complaints. The hotel arranged transportation to and from the airport, as well as a driver to take us to see the Castillo and other sites. We would definitely return.

I stayed in a room which overlook the pool on the next floor up. The windows opened out on to that but it was very quiet and private. Had no issues. The style of the hotel is that most of the windows will face inwards. There’s lot of light and it’s not at all noisy. It was a very clean, well serviced and tranquil hotel. I would recommend.
