Two beautifully restored 16th century homes comprise this boutique hotel. There are two open atria, one equipped with a marvelous swing attached to a large tree. Because the rooms surround the atria, most open to the inside. The breakfast served in a lovely dining room is ordered individually rather than a buffet. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed...

I cried when I left this hotel - it is sheer perfection. It is well-managed with a very friendly, accommodating and sensitive to individual needs general and administrative staff. It is located on a quiet street so when you leave the property, you are not accosted by street vendors, food stalls or traffic. I was traveling alone and felt very...

Right in the heart of the old city, this beautiful hotel is a dream find. With super friendly helpful staff, the single most comfortable beds I have slept in anywhere in the world, and a beautiful environment it's a great base for anyone in Cartegena. Big rooms that are spotlessly clean, fluffy bathrobes and towels with hot showers and lovely...

It is a nice hotel, good location, but a former colonial house does not equate a "boutique hotel". That said, staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and well-tended. There is a small pool in the roof. It is a good choice but nothing too fancy.

I thought this hotel was amazing. I stayed in a junior suite. The room was big, with a beautiful colonial look to it and antique furniture. It had a huge bed which was very comfortable. Most of the staff was great, super friendly and helpful. However, I had to call twice to see if the hotel could send a cab...

It is not a bad place but not worth the "boutique" rating. Spotty wi-fi and tv service, noisy, room key system faulty. People are friendly though.

Not a great experience for us. We went early, just wanting to have drinks and a bite. No one was in a hurry to greet us, the front desk clerk actively avoided speaking to us...we really felt like we were intruding. Because the weather was so nice, we opted for patio seating. We ordered wine and one plate each -...

But I must said that very early in the morning you start to listen the maids talking very...

We went to Cartagena as part of our three city tour of Colombia. We only booked for 4 day 3 night trip and I have to say it was more than enough time. The rooms are all spacious and clean(i suggest booking a room on the second floor) with working ACs they are poorly lit and you will have to...
