I stayed here with a group of friends and while location is great, I would try different alternatives. There is no pool, it is like a bird feeder. Doors don't close well, fluorescent lights everywhere. I ordered a taxi to take me to the airport and they forgot about it. We asked for some garments to be laundered and they...

Very happy we chose this hotel. It was in a great location close to everything. Many great restaurants and a nice Park a half a block away. Decoration inside is beautiful and the room was nice and comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the staff. From the desk clerks to the kitchen staff everyone is very friendly and...

Good equipped rooms, awesome balcony. Nice overhead shower. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. Doorman needs to let you in, so it's safe. Overal maintenance could be improved but that's the case everywhere in Carta. Tad expensive but that's Carta for you. 7.5/10, would return.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It was located just around the corner from Plaza San Diego and there are restaurants just a few feet away. Due to language barriers, the main concierge we communicated with was Flore who was amazing and very helpful. Her English was great. The other staff spoke very minimal English but were extremely friendly. We...

Whilst this hotel looks great from the outside and in, the standard does not really match it. We had problems with the air conditioning unit which leaked and the staff forgot to fix, major problems with paying, inexperienced staff and an average breakfast, given the price. However, the location is good, hot showers, decent rooms. I don't think the pool...

As gorgeous as its photos, Casa del Curato felt like we were living in Cartagena in its glory days --- antique doors, ceramic floors, tall wood beamed ceilings, garden courtyard, walls made of ancient rough-hewn white coral. Elegant, though small room had the most gorgeous glass shower and painted ceramic sink. In the floor is a glass window where you...

Stayed at this place for three nights. It is centrally located in the old city of Cartagena, very near to many attractions , bars, clubs & restaurants. Room was very quite and pleasant , with a balcony. Staff were friendly & helpful and breakfast was descent.

If you are looking for a great location hotel that offers excellent value and incredibly helpful friendly service, look no farther. Despite someone recently reporting quite different experience, front desk staff spoke good English and I'd say that the rooms and whole hotel look exactly as you see in the photos on their website. My wife and I will definitely...

This hotel looks better in the photographs than reality, but it was an okay hotel. It's location was good inside the walled city, and had I turned left out of the front door and walked 30 m I would have found a fantastic seafood restaurant, which I didn't find until my last day and it was too late to dine...

If you come to Cartagena, you should definitely stay inside the walled city and this place makes it possible! The staff were friendly, the room was clean, though a bit small, it was like the rest of the hotel - beautiful and historic. The dipping pool was a bonus, as it is very steamy-hot here. Overall, we had a great...
