I love this hotel . This our third stay in the last few months. Great service from the moment we check in until check out. Special thanks to Miguel and Yen from the front desk, restaurant staff, house keeping were all great. Ms. Yen arranged for the nurse to come to our room few times to treat my wife after she hurts her foot and arm and had infection and by the time we departed the hotel my wife was in great shape.
Great place ! Great location. About 10 mins from the main historical city . Staff was friendly and courteous ! Place was very clean! Will definitely be back ! The pool and jacuzzis were great. The view from the rooftop is amazing . If you can catch the sunset from there please do so .
Without being an expensive hotel, the place is really nice, clean, modern and has a great location in front of the beach. Our room had a nice view ocean side and was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is included and is ok. There it service for drinks and food beside the pool. They have a kiddy pool with amenities for kids. When you go to the beach you need to rent the umbrella and chairs to the natives, but it is very cheap and safe. If you want to visit the Ciudad Vieja (old town) a taxi form the hotel will charge you 6 dollars which is pretty cheap and the old town is breathtaking, a must. We would definitely come back.
Beautiful architecture. The hotel is located in the nice new tourist part of Cartagena, and surrounded by beautiful apartment buildings and hotels. Rooms are nice but furnished with a minimum furniture: Two beds, one night table, one desk and a chair. Nothing else. I missed another chair to place clothes and things. A hotel of this category should have it. Lovely buffet breakfast in a terrace, with local and international dishes. Don't miss the "arepa de huevo" with "suero costeño" (sour cream). Lunch buffet quite good. You pay for an adult and a child can eat too. The restaurant is quite simple, there isn't any atmosphere inside or outside. A la carte dishes are also good, but nothing out of this world. The swimming pool is too small for the hotel, in my sense. It has only 20 beach chairs and just two or three parasols. There is a bar service in the swimming pool and the cocktails are great. There is a children's swimming pool that they enjoy a lot, as well as the exciting recreation. There's also nice recreation for adults in the evening, karaoke, live music, etc. The beach is nice, grey sand and a sea with good waves. The beach doesn't belong to the hotel and you have to pay for a tent if you want to use. It is not worth if you just want to spend some moments in the beach. You can bath an come back into the hotel premises. There's a nice terrace at the sea level, where you can stay. People are very helpful and friendly. The kind receptionist at the front desk checked us in when we arrived, at 10:00 a.m. It was a nice welcome that we greately appreciated. The old city is 20 minutes away and there are taxis all the time at the hotel.…
An address I will you time and again if I visit Cartagena. You are not in the hustle bustle of the Old town nor are you in the Boca Grande area where you find the ugly tall buildings and crowded streets. This hotel is nestled in the lovely area of La Boquilla - 10 mins from Old town and 10 mins from the airport. The interior is fresh and clean and the staff are great. I payed to upgrade my room to the Master Suite - 1 stayed for 1 night and wanted to have access to the Suite's balcony for the perfect sunset. I was a bit dissapointed with the quality of the furnishing in the suite as all the surfaces seems to be manky/stained and old and not clean... the stench of dampness also bothered me and all the curtains needs a deep clean/wash as they were no longer white but beige/brown.
