Place cleanliness needs improvement Also customer service, especially at the front desk everyone seemed to have an attitude when it comes to helping a large group, restaurant is average with the same choices every day. Waiters and waitresses not friendly.
Fantastic Hotel! I had previously stayed there in 2027. I went back in June 2022 and they had me in their system. They gave me an upgrade to a Junior Suite which was crazy huge. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport directly on the beach. It is super clean with lots of marble and fancy amenities. It feels rich. Free buffet breakfast which was delicious. Everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way to greet you. I booked through TripAdvisor and it was $75 a night. Literally a $300 a night experience for a fraction of the price. Seriously, if you are in Cartagena, this is the place to stay!
This is a lovely hotel with spa and two pools added to the fact that it has beach access. The food in both the bar and restaurante is very good with the breakfast choice excellent. The customer service is on point and to complete it, for me, it is close to Cartagena International Airport.
Very well located (Morros beach is quite better than city beach), Lobby and public infra is fine with good access to the beach, security entry assures you arrive fine during nights. Internal rooms are definitely the bad 3.5 level hotel (based on my experiences with 4 star Hotels with Radisson and other hotels) - Samsung TV, constantly wants to connect to external devices, annoying screen announce is showed when it detects your smartphones around. - Tried to change the TV settings (cause TV still in new settings mode so needs to be sync with samsung account etc), so I have to request the original samsung remote control, Hotel sent the RC but they requested to me to give the RC in checkout process !!! if not a USD 70 penalty would be charged!. Due to Samsung needs to be sync with Samsung cloud through wifi and wifi Ruckus access point in the room is limited to establish that kind of access, it was impossible to change the settings. - Hotel maintenance of room facilities is not good, you will find deteriorated chairs, some loose toilet accessories, not well cleaned inside door. - I requested a premium room for 3 people in my reservation (they were aware during checking process), nevertheless towels, soap quantity were for just 2 people! You have to request more elements so in conclusion you have to call to lobby several times for something (in some cases cause they are just 2 in lobby, you have to try several calls). - Lunch is a buffet and is quite expensive, it doesn't include drinks so you will be charged extra for this (really recommend to pre establish a good place to have lunch in the city than to have lunch in the same hotel) In conclusion the hotel is good in general public facilities and is good for families than couples but is not a fully 4 stars hotel. BTW I have my Radisson member card that is different cause Radisson CTG has Americas version but points are not in the portal yet.. anyways is not really important in my case.…
No one indicated us how to use the elevators, the cards, the room, etc; we didn't know how to use the cards in the room, and we had problems to access the room with the card, the reason was "just the cards were disabled", so its weird
My stay in this hotel was in 2 steps because after Carthegena I went to Bogota and come back in Carthegena so my first stayt I was with my nephew and his girlfriend so we had a suite with 2 bedrooms with of own bathroom, love it !!. the second stay, I was alone and I had a standard room. Even when I was alone, I feel safe in this hotel. All the beds were comfortables, the staff is friendly, the food is good and love the beach, no rocks and lots of winds so I didn't get too hot but bring lots of sun cream, guys! you have to pay for chairs and beach umbrella because the beach doesn't belong to the hotel.
300 dollars per night is too much. No worthy Swimming, pool was close during my stay. There was not any vegetarian food. Menu only in Spanish, witch for the beginning give was terrible. load music coming from the beech
We got the biggest most expensive room in the hotel. A suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a sofa. The day after we arrived, something fell under the sofa, I tried to retrieve it and a USED CONDON came instead. I got it with my bare hand in the most expensive room in the hotel. Disgusting, to say the least. Next night the sink fell in the middle of the night. The whole sink! We had to brush our teeth in the shower in the morning. When we left, my daughter left her Nike tennis shoes she used the night before. I contacted the hotel and after sending me to 10 different places and people, I got a basic email saying they didn’t have them. My daughter has the shoes in pictures the night before. They were at the hotel but conveniently lost!?!., Pool is small with only a few chairs and too many guest to fit in. Breakfast included is bland, lukewarm food and bad quality. You can hear noises all night long from other rooms and from outside.…
I'd NEVER book a place like thisbuta friendbookedit, and paid. It looks impressive from outside and there is lots of attentive staff. Less impressive is the breakfast, the same every day. Neverbacon or sausage just sliced ham. Drinks pretty decent. Dinner soso. Windows have not been washed in months making the view look quite dingy. Beach is mediocre, as are all close to the city. ExcellentWifi, butTV not smart. Biggest surprise, and disappointment, was refusal to allow 1pm checkout, Hilton gives until 2pm automatically.
If you need a pool and a beach in Cartagena (even though that's not the reason to come to CTG,) then this is a good place to stay. Rooms are nice, service is great, and people are friendly. The Walled City is 5 mins away by cab. Breakfast is free if you get the right packages, there is some entertainment on certain nights in the lobby and pool deck, but food and drink are unnecessarily expensive, but you're in Colombia, and will probably be eating everywhere else anyway. They can have someone come to your room to do a covid test for your flight.
