I stayed at Hotel Santo Toribio for four days and had a wonderful stay. I was in the room on the first floor across from the pool, and though other reviews are accurate in saying that it can be noisy, I only found it to be a slight annoyance if sleeping in or taking a nap - otherwise the room... My boyfriend and I stayed in this lovely hotel for a week! It was everything we hoped for and more! The location was amazing - right in the center of town. We were able to return to our room several times during the day if we needed to and head back for a dip in the pool. Everything is maintained... More

This was a peaceful, comfortable and reasonably priced, small, hidden hotel in the very heart of Cartagena de Indias. If you've experienced the riads of Morocco, you'll know what coming off a busy street into a quiet, totally comfortable surrounding is like. Beds and baths perfect. AC and fan more than adequate when needed. Breakfast varied from simple to full... More

In July 2015, I booked four double rooms through Booking.com. The reservation was for three nights over the New Year. All went well until mid-October when suddenly, totally out of the blue, Booking.com contacted me to say the the Hotel Boutique Santo Toribio had cancelled my reservation. The reason that was given was that they only take reservations for a... More

Relatively new boutique hotel; well located for walking throughout the old and newer parts of the city. Rooms small but well appointed. Rooftop terrace (with jacuzzi) was magical on a full-moon night. Food service (we had lunch and breakfast) was excellent; special thanks to Jose Mar for his wonderful welcoming smile!

We learned of Hotel Santo Toribio through an article in the New York Times. We just returned from a 9 night stay at this pleasant and wonderfully located hotel. It is in the heart of the Old Town and walkable to all destinations. The street the hotel is located on connects to all major streets and sites. The rooms were... More

Poor and noisy air conditioning system and leaking. Locker didn't work. There was a light in the room and when asked to turn it off the problem wasn't solved. Very basic breakfast with the same fruits everyday and not well served. The only worker that was very helpful was Indira!

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location within the walled city, quiet at night and a stones throw from the action. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, particularly Indy (receptionist) who despite a slight language barrier was able to book all of our excursions for us and offer recommendations on restaurants in the area. Also the guy who... More
