People from reception is very kind , the place is incredibly beautiful ...the food was stunning even though almost all dishes from room service haves pork (I'm muslim , so i dont like it so we asked it without but they still sent it to us by mistake) in general , this was an amazing place to stay

I stayed here with my grown children and their partners for a family Christmas vacation. The good news: the rooms are very adequate, and housekeeping is perfect. The restaurant is so-so, and quite expensive. We had a disastrous Christmas dinner, as we were seated in front of a VERY loud band, and we had been served 3 of 6 courses... More

On a narrow street in the center of the historic district San Agustin makes an excellent base for exploring Cartagena. The rooms vary in size, but all are well appointed with comfortable beds and huge bathrooms. The minibar is stocked with complementary bottled water and soft drinks. Some rooms have private terraces. The third floor rooms are somewhat brighter. Breakfasts... More

Anyone who has read my reviews know, I rarely review or focus on the unexceptional properties and review mainly the properties that WOW me, a luxury resort and hotel traveler. This past October (late October) I had decided it was time to venture to the last of the Central and South America countries, Ive yet to explore, Colombia, and as... More

Hotel Casa San Agustin is a jewel of a hotel located within the walls of the old city. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully furnished, breakfast is included and offers a wide variety of choices, all delicious and elegantly presented. Service is impeccable, the free wifi is fast, and the pool is gorgeous.

A small and elegant hotel in the old city. Of the two or three top hotels inside the walled city, this one has the most exclusive feel. My wife and I stayed in room 102. It had soaring (20 foot!) ceilings and a private pool, surrounded by ancient walls with old growth landscape. It was quite impressive.

We stayed in hotel for four nights during our 3 weeks Columbian holiday this January. It is without any doubts the best hotel in the country, at least on our opinion, and we stayed only in 5 stars accommodations. It is more like luxury small mention, beautiful Spanish colonial style with a big swimming pool in patio, and only about... More

Seeking a warm weather getaway over Christmas, my husband and I spent three nights at the Hotel Casa San Agustin. Direct flights from JFK made this really easy. We'd booked a "Deluxe" room and were shown to Room 304. We were a bit disappointed to not have a balcony, but the room was on the top floor (so no overhead... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Casa San Agustin. I had always wanted to visit Cartagena and celebrating my daughter's 25th birthday in Cartagena and Miami provided the perfect opportunity. Lovely small hotel, a real oasis in the old town. Staff are gracious and accommodating. Rooms are wonderfully designed and appointed. Pool is small but beautiful. Restaurant was fantastic. Overall, a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended.
