The welcoming service was incredible. My fiancé and I felt pampered every step of the way. My fiancé had a medium touch massage, while I had a deep tissue massage. Our welcoming agent was Ligia. Ligia made us feel like we were in a world designed for my fiancé and me. Ligia constantly offered us water or asked us if we needed anything. My fiancé got a massage from Jesti, which she said that she felt like she was in a cloud after Jesti was done. My masseuse was Arelis. She did an excellent job with the deep tissue. I felt it the next day, but that's what deep massages are for. BONUS TIP: Go to the bar ALMA! Get the Monkey 47 drink! Also, you may want to try the Ceviche Eljach. Best Ceviche you will ever eat!
So I actually ended up booking at another hotel which was very good too, but after arriving in cartagena I went in to this hotel, and I totally regret is not booking here. So I decided to go the spa, I had a reflexology and pedicure , and the manager Lina went over and beyond to make up for a small mishap w the pedicure , and Ligia in the spa was great. I ended up going back the next day for a 60 min massage , very nice hotel and spa ! Very very good service , I Highly recommend
The spa is spectacular, the hamman was such a wonderful experience and best of all massages. The staff is the most friendly professional team with ligia valle, arelis and Ludy. We couldn’t have asked for more We love u guys💋
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The young ladies starting with Paola, Katherine and the young man Ramon are the nicest people you will ever meet. They make your stay fun, warm and take care of anything you need. The hotel itself is in the beautiful old town section of Cartagena on a quaint street just across from the university. Our bedrooms were enormous with gorgeous bathrooms and every amenity. The swimming pool is lovely and a nice place to escape the heat of the day. You simply can't go wrong here. It's a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and sumptuous bedrooms.
We were welcomed with smiles and cold drinks as we entered through the huge wrought iron gates into the atrium of this glorious property. The hotel entry provided a welcoming calm and was simply awesome, literally. The restoration, decor and attention to detail throughout was like walking back in history. The rooms were stunning. Our suite’s sitting room, being an internal room, was a little dark for my liking but they happily provided another floor lamp which made it possible to sit and read in the comfy chairs. The bed and the bathroom huge and simply luxurious. There was a narrow spiral staircase up into the room which I found enchanting but others with any physical disability may find a little challenging. Staff were efficient and nothing was any trouble. They had a free “coffee hour” in the afternoon which I found amusing. It was simply a Nespresso machine and pods which the staff member happily “Nespresso-ed” for you. I thought they probably should have provided a proper brewed coffee machine if they were going to offer this service. Especially in one of the coffee capitals of the world. However, the free little petit four treats provided were delicious! The pool was fabulous, the bar great and food excellent. Yes, it was expensive staying here but we were treated like royalty and felt like it. Great location too. I’d happily recommended it to someone who wants privacy from the outside world in luxurious surroundings. …
