Loved everything about this hotel! It’s in a perfect location with great restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby. The pool is heated and just amazing to relax in after a busy day. The staff is exceptional… from Julio at the bar, to Rene in the restaurant, to David and Catherine at the concierge… everyone made our trip perfect. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed with comfortable beds and linens, large bathrooms with rain showers, And seating areas. This felt like a luxurious haven in the middle of the city without the air of pretentiousness or ostentatiousness. Would absolutely recommend!

Pure luxury with the best amenities, the attention to the smallest detail. Outstanding service of whole staff made it feel like home. A huge plus was that every corner of the hotel smelled divine! The spa was a wonderful treat before departure.

Very beautiful place to stay. Everyone is very nice and feels safe. The Spa was amazing. Ligia was the receptionist and was great. Smiles all the time and treated everyone over the top to make it more enjoyable. Ludy was my massage therapist. Probably the best deep tissue I have ever had. Would highly recommend talking to Ligia and requesting Ludy as your therapist. Thank you ladies for the great experience.

I always begin by saying I have frequented many Leading Hotels throughout the world and Colombia is my 113th country visited! I previously made a few attempts to visit Casa St Agustin but circumstances prevented until this month (Jun 2022).. Everyone from Olga in reservations to Katherine and Nelson at the front desk confirmed there is a reason it is ranked the top hotel in all of Cartagena! I received the flawlessly executed VIP treatment from the entire staff and I especially LOVED the wonderful scents floating throughout, the beautiful fresh flowers, the wonderful welcome gift, the pool and all of the top notch amenities. It's also worth mentioning the Alma restaurant was simply divine! Each dish was presented like a piece of art and I was just as delighted with the taste of everything! Hats off to the chef!!!Well done! If you desire an incredible fine dining experience, then a vist to the Alma is a MUST! There are many hotels that tout a 5 star rating but few can deliver a truly authentic 5 star experience. Casa San Agustin was the highlight of my trip to Cartagena and indeed a quintessential 5 star experience in every way. I am certain I will recommend and return! THANK YOU for a special and most memorable experience!

Stayed two nights, one of these days visiting the private island. While at the island, the service hosted by Julio and the food by talented Bernardo was superb. While at the hotel, every detail was attended to, “no” was never an answer…ambience, food, accomodations and spa - all superb. Would repeat and definitely recommend!

I spent two and half amazing days in Cartagena with a couple of friends. It was my first time in Cartagena, in fact my first time in Colombia. Cartagena is a wonderful city with lots to see and do. As warm and friendly as people in Cartagena are, the staff at Casa San Agustin take it to another level. We booked Acasí private beach tour the first day. We were welcome by Gladys at the concierge station. She couldn’t have been warmer. She made us feel right at home from the get-go. She then turned us over to Julio who was in charge of our Acasi tour. Julio did a masterful job of handling every single detail of our trip (transportation, food, music, etc). Talking about food, our private chef at Acasi, Bernardo, delighted us with local favorites like Ceviche, Arroz con Coco, Patacones, and Lightly Breaded Fried Fish. Food was outstanding! In terms of the room, hotel service and amenities, this hotel is simply amazing. Prior to arriving in Cartagena, we spent some time in nice hotels in Bogota and Medellin, but none of those can compare with our experience at Casa San Agustin. I cannot recommend highly enough! It was the highlight of our Colombia trip.

we had a wonderful few days at the Casa San Augustin. It is located in the heart of the Old City of Cartagena, near restaurants and shops. We were greeted warmly by a very friendly staff and before we knew it, we had a cold drink in our hands and by the time we finished the drink our bags were already in our room. The entire experience was wonderful, beautiful courtyard and very comfortable rooms. You can walk anywhere in the old city.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at San Agustin! The hotel is gorgeous and the staff really warm and welcoming! David was our main concierge and he was fantastic, recommended the private day trip to the hotels island Acasi and it was a highlight! All the team was warm and accommodating, Edgar, Sofia, Katherine, Rene, and the rest really made efforts to help us enjoy our 10 year anniversary stay. We can’t say enough! And the restaurant Alma is fantastic.

The staff is extremely attentive without being obvious. Every staff member from the dining areas to the front desk to security were top notch. We were there midst pandemic and everyone exhibited the best of safety protocol. When the medical team who were to do our tests to get back into the US and they didn't show up the staff found another source; The rooms were well appointed. Not sure about the value of the private pools in the back section of the first floor but we weren't there is the hot times so the value might have been higher at that time.

We recently stayed at the beautiful Casa San Agustin. What a wonderful hotel! We were upgraded to a premium suite on the 2nd floor, with huge windows and ceilings. The bathroom was a dream. We also had a patio with a private jacuzzi. The breakfast was always good. We did enjoy dinner at Alma one night, too. The pool and hotel grounds were stunning. Best in Cartagena. If you can, book Acasi, the private beach. It was simply wonderful!! We had the beach to ourselves and had a great time. The snacks and lunch served was delicious. Shoutout to Paola, Esteban, and Julio for their great service!!
