Highly recommend this hotel . It’s perfectly situated in the old town to all the great restaurants, shopping and history ! The staff is super friendly, super accommodating and super everything . Easy going hotel with very few rules and regulations … they truly believe in my casa es su casa . Julio , Katerina , Edgar , Yuly , Dayanara exceed expectations! Katerina made arrangements for tours , shuttles , and restaurant accommodations while the rest , Julio , Edgar, Yuly , Dayanara made sure your the service was 5 star …. Recommend trying Alma restaurant for breakfast , lunch and dinner . The seafood is fresh and cocktails are crafted with consideration to your “specs.” The pool is small but magical . It’s quant and easy access from your room! While staying there ask Katerina to request Manuel “ Manu” as your historical tour guide . A guide that truly loves the culture and history of Cartagena to mention his canny ability to bring the history to life !

This hotel is truly amazing. It has breathtaking architecture. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and readily available to assist. The beds are so comfortable. The rooms are spaced out and private. The food (Alma Restaurant) provided is one of the best culinary experiences in Cartagena. It is in a great location near most main attractions. The amenities are robust. The entire stay felt luxurious while still providing an authentic Colombian feel. Immediately upon checking out of Casa San Agustin, I started checking my calendar to see when I could come back to stay at this relaxing, sumptuous hotel.

Staying at Casa San Agustin is what made our trip so great! Everyone was so nice and helpful but especially David, Jonathan and Julio were the best hosts! The hotel pool we could have stayed at all day, beds are so comfortable and restaurant is delicious. The is located by so many great restaurants. They help you make reservations and plan excursions to explore. Can’t recommend the hotel enough, we were sad to leave!

The hotel it is beautiful. We booked a Junior suite but were a little disappointed because the room was too dark for our taste. When booking try to ask for a room with more sunlight if that is what you prefer . Staff are very professional and provide great service. Good food and drinks. Overall I recommend this hotel.

The best hotel of Colombia? Great location, Great service and Great food. I was at Casa San Agustine during the holy week and let me tell you, It was an spiritual experience. You can tell that all the employees are professionals and care about the guest experience. I arrived early so I decided to have lunch at Alma, the hotel restaurant. The food was exquisite and the waiter Rene helped me navigating the menu and provided me with a lot of information about the hotel. Top notch service by him while I stay there. The check in experience was fast and reassuring. I didn't want to carry my cash an passports with me so I asked the front desk person if they have a safe. He replied we don't but I ill put your valuables at my boss's office. The employee was so confident that I gave him my little bag. I think the guys name was Sergio. After that I did get one of the junior suites; it was fantastic, spacious, very well décor with a lot of free amenities; soft drinks, fresh local fruits and toiletries. The room costed me around $800 US but the service is up to the price. The bed was super comfortable; a California king size, maybe bigger. The suite had two A/C units to cover the massive room. An small living room make the area cozier. The hotel is a beautiful restore old house keeping an original wall around the swimming pool, it give the hotel an impeccable look. The furnishing and the décor are luxury and done with a great taste. The two small rooftops are simple and cozy. Over all the cross services between departments show the guest that employees care and proud to work there. That itself elevated the service to a top standards. At night the hotel become magical with the blue color of its swimming pool and the lighting of the moon. Also the hotel rescued the tradition of preparing your bed at night and the add a little fresh pastries. The rooms seem a little be dark but I think it was done on purpose. The combination of the soft lighting and the smell of the diffusers work very well. Excellent stay with an awesome service. Definitely I'll come back.

Having spent 3 Fabulous days in Cartagena the trip was made even more special by staying at the Casa San Agustin hotel. This is by far,if not the best, one of the best hotels in Latin America. It is definitely the best Hotel in Cartagena by far. From the moment we engaged with David at concierge services to the moment we arrived and were immersed in the beautiful properly. we felt a very special and unique feeling which we only felt before when traveling to the likes of Cabo San Lucas. The property is spectacular. The setting and attention to the details is second to none. The quality of the food and drinks is incredible. Now everything I mentioned thus far would be irrelevant without first class service, client care and experience. The staff is incredibly attentive to all details and always there at your disposal. The arranged spa treatments for my wife and I. Also arranged a wonderful trip to their private island ( Acasi ) via private boat. The experience at the island was amazing and very personalized. Before I finish this review I like to highlight the following staff members that made our travel experience one of a kind. I am sure I missed a few others so forgive me as y’all are an incredible team. Special thanks for the great service goes to: - Esteban - David ( concierge) - Gladys - Paola - Jaime - Edgar - Nelson - Luis ( isla ) - Osiris ( tremenda chef! ) - Antonio. Many thanks for such an incredible ( inolvidable ) experience. See y’all again very soon. L Jose C and Sandra G

There are no branded luxury hotels in Cartagena and that's ok, because Casa San Agustin is excellent. The rooms are large - we had a two bedroom suite - which was more than adequate for our family of four. The restaurant Alma is one of the best we ate at while in Cartagena - breakfast is included and there was remarkable diversity - you could stick with the menu or order off menu with no upcharges. Dinner at Alma was even better than breakfast. The front of house staff is superlative - the porters, the concierges, the waitstaff all lovely. The wifi is fast and there is good coverage throughout the property. The kids loved the well sized pool. Location couldn't be better if you want to be in the Old City - you can walk to everything. The mini-bar is well stocked, all inclusive and replenished daily. The few areas for improvement: 1. Housekeeping was uneven - sometimes it was great, and other times it was less so. The room is serviced two times / day like any Four Seasons, which is awesome. 2. There is no gym which for American exercise freaks can be a let down. Suggest a partnership with a local gym that guests can access? The crowd is a mix of South Americans, Europeans and Americans largely from the Boston to DC corridor. There were more Instagram / Tik Tok types posing for pictures around the beautiful pool area than I would have liked, but they were not bothersome.

Stayed one night in Cartagena and the best choice we made was Casa San Agustin! From the moment we reached, we were welcomed so warmly by the front desk staff. We had reached before check in time, and were told that though the room wasn't ready, we could Check In and use the hotel facilities. The property is gorgeous. It's got a local Colombian feel as they have renovated a historic home. The old world charm has been retained & enhanced by beautiful furniture, plants and artifacts. They have retained some of the original walls as well. The food at breakfast was a nice change from the typical hotel buffets. Everything is made fresh & hot & brought to the table. They even customized our meals as my husband is vegan and has food allergies. Fruits were fresh and breads came out warm and tasty. Everything within the walled city is walking distance from this hotel, so it's a very convenient location. The hotel also offers free bikes that you can borrow to explore cartagena. We used them and covered most streets of the walled city as well as the trendy Getsemani neighborhood which is just outside. The spa was wonderful too. The ambiance is amazing plus the massage therapists are very skilled. I would recommend it if you have spare time. We had a deluxe double room, and it had everything you could need. We just loved it. Wanted to give a special mention to Katherine, Stebun & Gladys at the reception desk. They are so friendly, yet so professional. We were so impressed. This has been one of our best hotel experiences among our travels worldwide. The hotel is on the pricey side but my husband & I both felt it was worth it for the amazing experience we had. This was my husband's 3rd time to Cartegena & his first time at this hotel & he said it was the best time he's had out of the 3 trips here.
