The service at this hotel was honestly amazing. Marta and her family make the hotel seem like home and was always able to make us smile. She was always so nice. We were able to have great conversations with her, she helped us learn our way around the city, recommended the things we should do and see, got us an amazing driver to take us to this great fisherman's village, and on our last night in Cartagena, her and her family made us an amazing dinner with our favorite Colombian delicacies. Miguel, the man that does all the cooking in the house prepared our d e l i c i o u s Colombian breakfasts everyday and prepared our last dinner in Colombia for us. I recommend staying here to anyone visiting. Theres only two rooms so the service is always paying attention to your needs and

This was the best experience I have had staying at a hotel in Cartagena. The warm feeling that Marta brings is like no other and the service was that of the highest star hotels. However, the best part of staying here was getting to meet Mrs. Marta. She was not only a phenomenal host but also became a great friend (and "aunt figure"). I look forward to going back to Cartagena and staying at her hotel. The environment and ambiance there makes it better than any other hotel in Cartagena.

I stayed in Casa Marta for 6 days.It was a experience i wil never forget.I was afraid to go alone to Colombia, but at the Marta's House i felt like my house. When i came, i was very hungry, so Miguel went with me a good restaurant next to the house. I felt very security and confortable. The location is great. There a police station in the street, restaurants, a church in front of the house and a fantastic square, where children and Young people stay together. When I had douts i just talking with the employees:Olga and Miguel are very kind with me. I ate a lot of fruits, special mangos that Marta gave me.And when I came very tired from the street, I ate her food.Delicious. The neighhood is so close the old city, and you can walk.Getsemani is a good place to stay, and the Havana's

Location was fantastic. Air conditioning was a blessing. Marta went out of her way to help us with some stomach issues we experienced by accompanying us to the drugstore and giving us a personalized tour along the way. Definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were well taken care of by Marta, Anna, Miguel and "Joe." We were looking for a comfortable place to stay and an introduction to the people of Columbia - we found both at Casa Marta. And ps - we loved Getsemani, too.
