We enjoyed our stay here very much. Can't beat the location and the price. It's in the oldest part of Cartagena. The rooms are spacious and have AC (you'll need it!). The hosts are friendly and helpful. You can walk all over the old sections of Cartagena from here. There are fancier places out there but I doubt if you... More

We stayed for three nights at Casa Marta and it was the perfect choice for us - quiet, cosy, safe and not far from the action in Getsemani. Marta, Ana (Marta's niece who speaks excellent English) and Miguel looked after us very well and were attentive to our every need - whether it be advice, directions, bookings for onward travel... I had originally made this reservation for 2 people. I usually don't worry about our daughter since in the USA, hotels never charge for an extra child. Anyway, it was a big deal with this place. After we arrived, I insisted on knowing what the extra charge would be and the staff stated "don't worry about it, it is a... More

This house was everything and more. The staff was great. Pleasant & Helpful. The house was clean and really felt like home. The Pool is the perfect size. Not one complaint. My friends and I all enjoyed ourselves. The house is in the perfect spot, steps away from center and it is a happening place filled with friendly people, yummy... More

We had a great experience at Casa Marta. The rooms are very clean, the hosts were super friendly and helpful and the AC and ceiling fan keep the room cool and comfortable. A five minute walk to the walled city and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Also, the wifi is strong. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Cartagena.

We spent three nights in the Casa da Marta and was very pleasant. the house was decorated for Christmas and was very Marta who did everything. It was beautiful! All are very attentive and friendly persons. maybe the breakfast may have more options. The pool is great, a delight to rest! The location is good, close to shops and bars.... More

Casa marta is a quaint, clean little home about 10 minutes (walk) from the walled city. The people are friendly, although only one speaks any english and she is very often not around. The air conditioning and internet worked. Nevertheless, we wouldn't go back there for the following reasons: 1. it was way overpriced compared to other places with a/c,... More

Perfect for couples and those after a more genuine experience. Marta is absolutely divine - one of the nicest, warmest, funniest person you're likely to meet. She genuinely cares and helps those who stay. My girlfriend and i were welcomed into her family with open arms. It was simple, rustic, easy and central to the more lively parts of town.... More

I absolutely loved staying here with my mom. Both of us loved this wonderful bed & breakfast. It was quaint and made me feel right at home. Being in the presence of Marta reminded me of living with my Colombian abuela. Since there aren't many rooms, customer service is top-class (almost like having private service!). She and her staff were... More

Casa Marta was great! It is a nice little house with just two rooms which makes you feel very comfortable. Our friends were staying next door so we basically had the place to ourselves. The rooms are very well equipped (AC/TV/fridge/closet...) and Marta is very attentive to anything you need. Whether you need directions, help booking a car or are... More
