Location is very good for old town, just 50m away from Plaza San Diego, enough that it is quiet in the night. Beds are ok. 4 bed dorm is overpriced! The floor is dirty, the bathroom very moldy with badly stained carpet which probanly hasnt been washed for two years. Shared showers are good value though. Common area is small... More

Good things about the hostel: very central location; and relatively cheap for Cartagena. Bad things: kitchen and showers were extremely dirty (and we are usually not so sensible to this:) no nice common place to hang out. I would not recommend to stay more than one night.

Love this place! The woman who owns it is a sweetheart! She really helped me get around. They book tours for you too! I loved the location of this hostel too!! It was very hot, but that has nothing really to do with the hostel. They do have some rooms that have AC. There is a small kitchen with some... More

So i stayed here at the beginning of the year. The staff are really friendly and give you a great intro into the city. The bigger dorms are better they have really big lockers as well as more privacy because of the curtains than the 4 bed which are actually just bunk beds. The showers were OK but just that... More

The dorms are clean and I love the huge storage at foot of bed. The AC is on only at night, so factor that in. We couldn't take the heat by 11 am, so we spent 11 am to 3 pm at San Juan Coffee. The showers are semi open to common areas, didn't like that too much.

Just stayed in an 8 bed dorm at Casa Nativa for 3 nights. Hostel is quite small but well located within the walls of old Cartagena. The staff were extremely helpful on booking tours, flights, etc. There are lockers at the head of each bed for personal belongings. This is lucky, as the rooms are too small to store your... More

Nice hostel, was quiet during my 3 day stay. Good sturdy beds with large lockers at the head of the bed which I personally liked. Beds also had a curtain which gave your own space. Air conditioning was a welcome luxury in the heat of Cartagena. Overall good stay and staff went out of their way to help in any... More

I had heard great things about Casa Nativa, but was disappointed with my stay there. The hostel was dirty and cluttered, which could have been easily addressed by the cleaning staff they had there each day. The rooms were fine and the lockers were a good addition. The hostel was also expensive compared to others I had stayed at, but... More

-Privacy curtains on the mixed dorm beds are great. -Bathrooms and showers are separate and moderately clean. -The a/c at night was good. -The common areas are small and often occupied by sleeping staff. -The owner arranged a boat tour for us which was totally amazing. -Great location and many plazas and restaurants nearby. -I loved the lockers at the...
