We took a day trip to The Island and spent The day. It was great! Water was perfect, food was tasty and The mojitos were delicious. After The beach we took a dive in The swimming pool. Altogether an awsome day.

We really liked Isla Del Encanto. We bought it from the hotel and paid 145,000 COP which included pick up at the hotel, transportation to the Islas on speed boat, buffet lunch, transportation back to port and drop off at the hotel. We were picked up at 8:00 am on a Chiva and we drove around picking up other passengers.... More

The day trip to this resort is often recommended by the Cartagena hotels in place of a trip to Playa Blanca. Do not waste your time and money. They are constantly shilling crap to you (even on the boat ride) and the beach is narrow and cramped, no space to swim or explore or relax. Our "guide" for the day,... More

This is not what was sold. The worst part is that this is a semi-tourist trap. You are sold on an experience without vendors harassment, and yet , not 15 minutes go by on this trip without being offered to buy something. One of the guides even woke me up from a nap to ask if I want to buy... More

This truly is an amazing place. I would recommend spending the extra money and invest in at least a one night stay. The resort is 5 star, the rooms are spotless and there is A/C. The hospitality and food are a credit to the Colombians who work extremely hard to ensure your stay is unforgettable. We went as a family... More

We were told this was going to be a great excursion for a wonderful time. The Hotel Isla del Encanto will lead you to believe you are going for a great day at a great beach with plenty of activities. It sounded good, but....After getting to the docks, it was an hour long boat ride on a hard bench seat.... More

Our hotel and tour guide both recommended Isla del Encanto for a Rosario Islands excursion. We were hoping for a nice beach day, but the whole experience was terribly disappointing especially considering the price. The brochure shows a lovely, blue beach, but we experienced murky green waters. It was like swimming in a lake. The swimming area was very small... More

Wanted to see what all the hype was about so we booked a day. The resort is very nice and the staff was excellent. Everything is very professional from the time you arrive at the port until the time You leave the island. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They have a few people (I believe their staff) selling necklaces... More

We chose this tour option as we did not want to be bothered by too many vendors, and wanted to be assured luxuries that may not be as readily available. The price of about $ 50-75 USD is quite a bit compared to other options. We considered it average, but we also live on the East Coast of Florida and... More

We spent one night at Isla del Encanto on June 24th, 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff, especially Maitre Andres and boss lady Haidee, were very attentive. Food was very good. The resort gets overrun by day trippers from 10 am to 3pm, but for the rest of the day is almost like your private island. Only 11 rooms.... More
