Admittedly, my less than positive review rests solely on the shoulders of the woman heading up housekeeping. This hotel has a strange arrangement where check-in is at 3 and checkout is at noon. The boats with new arrivals show up around 11 but boats back to Cartagena leave at 3:15. This leaves an awkward gap for those coming and going....

My husband and I came to this resort twice. Our hotel initially arranged a day trip and we enjoyed it so much that we booked a room to spend the night. The staff was certainly the highlight. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with our every need (despite our clumsy attempts at basic Spanish). We especially loved Emil who took...

I took a day trip to Isla del Encanto from Cartagena. The boats we took had lifejackets for everyone and seemed to be higher quality than other boats we saw. The water was choppy, but not much you can do about it. The property was well cared for. The pool was pristine and had a sufficient deep end. There was...

We arranged for a day trip boat ride from Cartagena to Isla Del Encanto and it was great. Got on a boat ride out to the island. The boat we took was good, especially compared to some of the other boats I saw, this was definitely one of the better boats. The island was great. You could relax and use...

The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Staf very friendly, especially Martin, which does everything with a smile the entire day. The food was good. They ask what you want for lunch and diner, giving you 4/5 options. Breakfast is a buffet. Only the prices are rather expensive (eg. 10.000 cop for a beer).

Hi All, This is my first negative review on Trip Advisor and hopefully my last. I like to focus on the positive and with this experience it will be challenging. First, they messed up our booking. We were supposed to have two days at Encanto and on our first day we were about to arrive and they said that they...

One hour away from the city, crowded boat ride, once we got to the Island, we were offer different activities at an extra cost. We decided to just chill and enjoy the morning, buffet lunch was good, staff friendly, but overall nothing that I will do it again.

We took a day trip to The Island and spent The day. It was great! Water was perfect, food was tasty and The mojitos were delicious. After The beach we took a dive in The swimming pool. Altogether an awsome day.

We really liked Isla Del Encanto. We bought it from the hotel and paid 145,000 COP which included pick up at the hotel, transportation to the Islas on speed boat, buffet lunch, transportation back to port and drop off at the hotel. We were picked up at 8:00 am on a Chiva and we drove around picking up other passengers....
