I stayed here for a couple of nights when I was in Cartagena. The room was small and clean with a private bathroom. There was no hot water, but with the weather it was totally fine. The AC was very cold and strong. The staff was helpful, although they don't speak a lot of English. The location is convenient. Walkable...

I stayed here for a couple nights and I really liked it. Basic room, but very clean, great wifi and AC, and the staff is really nice. Cute little dog named Lulu as well. Reasonable rates. Nicely located near Media Luna and the Clock Tower, but on a side street so it's pretty quiet.

I stayed at Hotel La Magdalena for 4 nights in Jan-Feb., 2017 and found the place nearly ideal. The location, in Getsemani, just outside the old city, is great because you can get away from the tourist hordes and see a bit, albeit now gentrifying, of the less prettified city. It's a joy to walk the surrounding neighborhood, eat at...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are really big, the staff is very friendly and the wifi is great! The computer is the lobby is very handy if you need to upload anything. Good restaurants for breakfast and dinner are just around the corner. The old city and nice places to have a drink in the evening are...

Staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel was fairly easy to find and is a five minute walk from central, with a couple decent breakfast spots nearby. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. Water was cold, but given the heat this was not such an issue. The room also had a safe and AC.

Very happy with this little hotel in the centre of Cartagena, near to Restaurants, Shops, and Banks. The hotel is very clean, fresh bedding every day, the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitley stay there again!

Our room at Hotel la Magdalena was clean and the service was great. It was nice to be able to have a clean, private, air conditioned room for such a low cost in a very cute city! My only complaint was the shower. There was no hot water!

I am so happy that we stumbled upon this gem in Cartagena. Oscar was a huge pleasure and help at the hotel with information and he has some super cute puppies at the moment that he let me play with. The location of the hotel is very convenient for doing all sort of activities. There are tons of food options,...

Our room was clean and tidy and also well appointed, though the room did smell a bit damp and musty. Super handy location and friendly staff. Generally pretty quiet which, coupled with a comfortable bed, made for a good stay.

The people here are great. The hotel is super cozy and clean. People at the front desk are willing to help and welcome you with a warm smile. Lulu the dog is adorable and my friends and I had the luxury of meeting her adorable puppies (they will be there temporarily). I highly recommend this hotel if you're on a...
