Candil de los Santos went above and beyond to make our stay great. There are two options for staying there. Large groups can rent out the entire house when visiting Cartagena or in our case there weren't any large groups there so each room was rented it individually. We stayed for 5 nights while in Cartagena. Roberto and his team...

El Candil de los Santos was the perfect spot for a group holiday with ten friends to Cartagena. The house is well located within the Central Historic district and walkable throughout the walled city. The pictures do NOT do this property justice at all! The house is beautiful, huge (more than enough room for our group of ten). We spent...

Our group rented the whole house for a celebration so our experience of the property was pretty special. The central courtyard is a dream - cool, breezy, protected and totally private with a really comfortable vibe. It was hard not to gravitate there and linger. The rooms are OK - I didn't think they were especially luxurious - but they're...

The room and the decor of the is on point and makes you feel so relaxed. It's very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are clean and every...

I do not understand why this boutique hotel got a certificate of excellence. Our room was located on the ground floor facing the pool and close to the kitchen. The room had one small window, was poorly lit, and had very few outlets to plug in iPads and iPhones. Indeed, one had to unplug either lamps or tv to recharge...

My family and I rented the whole place out before my wedding which was at another hotel. The service, food and pool were all wonderful. Amazing location close to several bars and restaurants. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves even though there was 24 hour staff present (2 super sweet ladies who cook and clean during...

I stayed here in October with a group of 7 guys. The house was HUGE! From the beginning the staff were super nice and welcoming. They always kept the entire place cleaned and cooked amazing breakfast for us every day. We stayed 3 nights and they were very trust worthy with our belongings. There was a butler there 24/7 as...

Our stay at Candil de los santos was amazing! We were a group of 11 and the entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating from the time we booked. Roberto was so helpful in arranging airport transportation, making restaurant reservations and renting a boat. The house is gorgeous, even more so than seen in the pictures! The breakfast that the...

This was an amazing place and we had a spectacular time! The breakfast was amazing each morning, the place spacious, and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone! The only thing is I wanted the floors to be a bit more clean.
