The hostel is very well located in a nice neighborhood. The hostel itself was very disappointed. Rooms smells mouldy and we had actually a mouse in the room. That was not worst. That's the continuing sounds in the hostel starting at 6 in the morning staff yelling to each other. After two days staying here we are exhausted.

Stayed in a private room private bath w aircon for circa 70K a night w breakfast for 4 nights. I quite liked it. Its got a good feel to it, the way its setup. Three stories and all the windows face internal to the courtyard. Staff are lovely and the breakfast is pretty decent. Great location too, and top value...

The staff were really helpful and friendly, the communal area was nice however all the private rooms are more or less in the hotel lobby, due to the colonial building style. This is obviously no fault of the staff. If you have ear plugs then it's fine. There's free breakfast and wifi and also free PC access in the communal...

Pros: -The flowers in the stairwell and on the roof, and general color of the place are very pretty. -The location is great! -If anyone is having a loud conversation in the common area (or a crying phone call back home, as we experienced) the whole hostel can hear it. -A/C and a fan Cons: -The sheets we got were...

I stayed 3 nights. The room I got was not the best one, but sufficient. Pretty basic and noisy. The breakfast were served always on time, consisting of some fruit, arepa and scrambled eggs. The ladies preparing the breakfast were nice. One of the biggest benefits of this hostel is the location, as it is close to Muelle de los...

Pros: Kind staff. The have a quaint open-air, interior courtyard with a spiral staircase all the way up to the roof; it's decorated with nice plants. The rooftop terrace has tables where two woman cooked us a traditional complimentary breakfast. It's not fast, they serve the fruit first, papaya or watermelon. Then they grill arepas (fried cornmeal cakes), prepare scrambled...

We stayed here for three nights in a private room with private bath. The "private" part of the bathroom was a little overstated as the toilet was in our room but did not have a door or full wall separating it from the bedroom. Aside from that awkwardness the room did have AC (which we didn't even use because the...

La Casona is a great place to stay in Cartagena. It is a short walk to the old city and to lively bars around Getsemani. The staff are great, rooms are nice and the price is reasonable. The courtyard is a beautiful garden which makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here!

This place is awesome! The dorm has great beds and air conditioner with bathroom inside. It offers good and filling breakfast. The laundry service is fast. The staff are all friendly and helpful. This is a hotel that's geared for local so not many foreign tourists, a good place if you are looking for privacy and quietness. It's located just...
