Casa Mara was a very quiet and relaxing place in the bustling Getsemani. Great pool to cool down. The matress was the best i slept on my whole trip. This is no party hostel and also not the most likely place to meet other travellers, but sometimes you just don't want that. Breakfast is basic, but as in everywhere in...

Although the hotel and the rooms area bit old fashioned it has a great cosy feel to it and the smal pool is great for cooling off after a day of wandering around in the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choices are good (six different combinations to choose from) The only point for improvement...

This hotel is located in a nice location in between the old city and the san felipe castle. Many restaurants and bars nearby. The swimming pool is nice to cool off. Building itself has a colonial atmosphere. Breakfast is not included, but can be bought separately or better visit a bar/restaurant nearby. Wifi quality is poor in the rooms, and...

We moved to Casa Mara after spending a nice few nights at one of their other properties, Hotel Villa Colonial. The other hotel was also nice, but we had a really horrible experience there one night due to some very loud neighbors and decided to change locations the next day. If I had known how lovely Casa Mara was, I...

The hotel is great when you arrive in the main access, but the moment you arrive to room at least ours, start to feel like you are in a room for children, when no space and the same sheets like when I was 5. Shame... Otherwize the place this the swimming pool is cute, and you can get some sun...

I picked this hotel from pictures because I loved the blue and white, and it was as pretty in person as in the pictures. The reception was very kind and helpful. My room was nice enough, but if they would turn the bed 90 degrees to the side instead of in the center of the room, there would be more...

We had a lovely stay here, even extended one more night. Our room was no. 11. Very clean and spacious, nice shower, bed was comfortable. Good location. Staff were helpful and friendly and it feels like a very safe place to stay as there's always someone at the desk.

My brother and me got a small double bed ignoring our twin bed room reservation. We asked for a second blanket several times but they forgot it nevertheless. There was no Wifi in our room. The bed was very hard, my bones are hurting. Breakfast was okay.

Noticed how the rest of the reviews were old so figured I should give an update. Went here with a friend and we stayed in two rooms at the Casa Mara. Originally, we had booked at the Villa Colonial, but when we got there, they told us we actually booked at the Casa Mara. Wish they would figure out a...

Don't stay here! I booked a room here but when I arrived it was in shambles and uninhabitable. Good thing there was a boy there who told me that I could stay at their other hotel Casa Villa Colonial, down the street. I'm giving them one star because that is just not acceptable - feels like a scam. Casa Villa...
