It was my first time in this beloved city and fortunatelly I was able to be there by pleasure with my wike (and not a business travel as I am used to) She found this charming Hotel and I think that there was no better way to know Cartagena from it. The reception was so warm, the rooms very well...

I travelled to Cartagena, Colombia the last week of July/09, en route from Lima. I had read some reviews about Cartagena's filthy beaches, and wondered about the safety of a Colombian city, given all the warnings about Colombia. Moreover, while Cartagena used to be a travel destination in the brochures in the 80's it seems to have fallen off the...

The hotel is located a couple of blocks from the public beaches and beach beer shacks. Buses to the old city travel in front of the hotel on a very regular basis and cost less than a dollar for the fifteen minute or so ride to the old walled city. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The...

I fell in love with Cartagena and with this hotel which is great! It's very well located in Bocagrande (the best part of the city) and the service is very good too. Its cost is cheap compared with so many other hotels in the area, and breakfast is included. They serve it every morning and they offer a good variety...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in Cartagena and we were very happy with the choice we made. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast, which by the way is included in the price, every morning in the patio - there was plenty of food all the time. The room was nice and spacious...

Hotel staff are very friendly, food in the restaurant is good, the rooms are all well kept and cleaned very well daily by very nice and trustworthy maids. Breakfast is good and securtiy is also top notch. If you visit say hi to Jimmy who...

This hotel is the antedote to all those bland chain hotels. It is a bit quaint (wooden room service menu) and quirky, but the staff are friendly and helpful (they had no record of my internet booking but they didnt make this into a big drama like some places would), my room was comfortable with good air con and a...

I stayed here in this hotel when I visited Cartagena for a meeting. I liked it. The staff is extremely friendly (poor English though), the adjoining Italian restaurant is OK - and many more options to eat inthe neighbourhood, room was fine, everything in working order (except for the room safe), and very very clean. There are 3 jacuzzi's on...
