Detailed Reviews
The room layout is good, small but clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom is a good size, with open shelves just outside the bathroom. The safe is small, do not fit laptop. We got caught in a bad time, they freshly painted the shelves in the room and were still painting the outside. so the paint smell is strong. We couldn't use the closet and the shelves. There are a rooftop bar/restaurant close by that played loud live music every night, and the room's blind/drape is not the black out kind. The check in and customer service is good. They are eager to help when needed. The breakfast was ok, small same menu every day, service was slow, allow more time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Delirio Hotel is in a great location, with restaurants and shops within a few steps of the hotel. We were welcomed at the front desk with a glass of fresh, cold fruit juice. The air conditioner in the room was really cold, and the shower was hot with great water pressure. The bed, pillows, and linens were comfortable. The hotel room was clean--thank you Deisy!. The breakfast that was included in the price was ample with free juices, coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit, pastries, ham and cheese. You could also order a fresh omelet, arepa with egg, or pancakes. The service at breakfast was excellent and friendly. We had a wonderful time in Cartagena, and would recommend the Delirio Hotel.

The hotel has a spectacular location, it is ideal for taking excursions, going out to dinner and going to the beach.
In addition, the facilities are very elegant and comfortable. The bedroom has a bed that is very cozy and the bathroom shower allows you to take a relaxing bath.
In addition, all the hotel staff are super friendly, the lady who prepares breakfast is very helpful and tells you the typical fruits of the country.
The hotel is highly recommended! I loved :)

WiFi didn’t reach the room, and when I asked the staff to assist, they said I can use it in near the reception.
No room service.
Breakfast was very basic.
Sent my clothes for laundry and asked for everything to be folded, but everything came back on hangers. Not to mention it was delayed and when I asked about it, the staff member just laughed and said “what can I do?” since they outsource the laundry service.

The staff are so friendly that I felt at home. The free breakfast......so wonderful (the chef even gave me cooking on hand-lessons on his traditional dishes recipes). The room so clean and with amazing view of the old city. I wanted to stay there forever ....last but not least the location is perfect (you can go anywhere from there).

Great helpful staff !! They helped us adjust our reservation a couple times. They were very helpful and communicative. The manager stopped by our table every morning during breakfast to ensure that we were comfortable. GREAT STAFF !!! Also a great and convenient location. A short walk to all of the old walled city. I recommend Room 501 because it has a spectacular terrace with an amazing view of the tower of the cathedral. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The following can be improved:
1. There was missing a “Do not disturb sign in the bedroom”.
2. Room does not have coffee or tea machine.
3. We requested the concierge during the day for information on trips to Rosario Islands. She promised to get back to us but never did.

Excellent hotel with excellent location at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable .
Cozy rooms, stylish and tastefully decorated Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. The whole crew/team are not working for money. The are the people of passion, kind hearted, open-minded, fun and curious, they love to give and they love to care, they go above and beyond.
Delirio is a true sample of excellent hospitality. My new feel like home away from my own one.
Bonus points : You will have your “own Alexa”. —Hotel Manager and the Orchestra conductor— You can ask her anything, She promptly will have an answer for you

In April, I attended my Nieces wedding. I had booked another hotel, but it ended up not being anywhere close to the festivities. I called on the same night I was staying and the Delirio was able to accommodate my needs. This is a charming boutique hotel close to the center of Cartagena. My queen size bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot and cold water for my showers. The complimentary breakfast provided a selection of hot food made to order, a selection of fruit, cheese, freshly created juices and other beverages. I loved the pancakes they made me, delicious and light served with real syrup. Try a Granadilla. The staff would allow me to take a few with me for later in the afternoon. Refreshing. Across the street from the hotel (heading to your left) several doors down, I discovered a restaurant on my first night. I had the BEST Salmon Dinner ever in my short 59 years on this planet! The staff at the hotel were warm and friendly. At the end of my stay, they were attempting to teach me Spanish. One of the Starbucks in Cartagena is literally less than a few blocks up the street from this stunning hotel. The price per night was reasonable and the convenient location to everything my niece had planned for the 5 days. Each day, it was like walking home and being greeted like family. I highly recommend this hotel!

Delirio hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Cartagena. The staff is very friendly, the ambiance is beautiful and the hotel rooms are very comfortable and modern. Very easy walking distance to anywhere you want to go in the historic center. The hotel manager even helped me by giving me credit for a previous nonrefundable reservation for a trip I had to cancel last-minute. I highly recommend!
