The rooms windows could be cleaner to enjoy the view, to roof top also should have more upkeep, the sound system was awful, sounded like the speakers were blown, they didnt play any music until someone bought a beer, tables were not organized, they were sometimes blown by the wind and everything was very disorganized. The staff is good and friendly, the breakfast buffet always had the same thing, scramble eggs, some variation of arepa, rice, the coffee was very strong but it had a good selections of breads. The pool area is good, although the pool itself is very cold, overall its a great hotel for the price, it located in a convenient area, secure safe to walk around, the beach itself is bad, you have to walk a block or more to go to a better beach. as always dont do the massages at the beach, the people there are true hustlers and will rip you off, they start with one leg or one arm, and then they keep going and end up charging you more than a real hotel spa for the low quality massage. Stay away from those women.....
Oh there was a crack on my window overlooking the ocean, which kind of made me feel unsafe to either lean or be near the window itself.

Book one night at the hotel under the all-inclusive plan, since the next day, you would take a cruise from the port of Cartagena. I made the reservation through my trusted travel agency, who did not recommend it, but I insisted.

The hotel is in the Bocagrande area on the beach, has a good price and is only 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the cruise port (by car), which made this the main decision to make.

Upon arrival, I showed up in the lobby and there was no problem with the reservation, the staff on duty gave me clear instructions about “all inclusive” and a bellboy took our luggage.

Assigned room, 23rd floor, the panoramic elevator with a spectacular view of the Bay of Cartagena, however, the windows were so dirty that you could not clearly see the beautiful landscape. When we arrived at the 23rd floor, I got a huge scare, it was all dark, as if there were no lights, but it turns out that the lights turn on with censors so as you walk through the hallways, they turn on, something inconvenient. The rooms were spectacular, spacious, clean, with good air conditioning, good linens, large bathroom, a good hair dryer and good towels, the views were spectacular without being able to see how dirty the windows were.

I decided to rest and then go down to dinner, the old looking restaurant with little flukes walking on the floor would have been overlooked if the food is good, but I must say that with their food it is impossible to eat, bad, very bad, the The food and beverage department has no sense of good eating, not of good presentation, the coffee cups with their plates broken on the ends, the dirty cutlery and the super limited drinks to be an “all inclusive”, in the end just take a coffee and no dinner. I'll have a drink at the pool area, I told myself.

The topic of the drinks is just cocktails, but the cocktails that they decide on are previously prepared in machines and that's what it is, worse than the food. The pool area is quite clean, with a good view on the top floor of the hotel. Without eating or drinking I went to sleep.

Breakfast is served until 10:30, since I had no intention of having breakfast, just drinking coffee, I went down at 10 am, had coffee and when I went to have a juice they told me that it was over because they were going to close. That is not done to a diner who is already inside the restaurant, if you do not want to serve more, close the door, but those of us who are inside must have everything served until the time we finish having breakfast. Many people who were inside were left without eating because the person picked up everything when they wanted it.

Let's hope that the management of this hotel reads all the comments and understands that only good service and the quality of what is offered is what makes one recommend and return. I had a post-cruise night booked at this hotel, which I canceled because I was not planning to return to this place, for the moment.

Summary: good location, it is not all-inclusive, the food is bad, it needs cleaning and modernizing its spaces.

Not a bad hotel but definitely it is not a 4-star hotel. Staff is friendly ( with the exception of a pool bar lady who seemed to be disinterested serving customers) but hotel desperately needs a facelift to align itself with modern times as now it screams the 80's. The word Dubai has association with luxury that is lacking (doesn't exist) at this hotel.
My room lacked 4 star hotel amenities. No complimentary water or coffee. My bathroom had those soap and shampoo dispensers that i associate with hostels and 1 or 2 star hotels. This is not a bad thing in terms of taking care of Mother Nature but this is not what one expects from a 4 star hotel. Not even a shower cap.
Furniture in my room looked cheap. Although, the bed was comfortable and the size of the room was very decent.
I had a half board. Food was very mediocre. That is nothing to brag about.
And hotel windows haven't been cleaned since its inception.

This place wasn’t worth the money. Only good things about it were the front desk staff and the pool.

Terrible water pressure from both sink and shower, had holes and scrape marks on multiple walls and just a random hole cut into the roof. No blankets were provided, only a sheet. I had housekeeping and I think what were maintenance people come to my room at 8:30 AM and bang on my door 3 days in a row! (I was not wanting a wake-up call) Lastly, I paid for an ocean view room which was a few dollars more and the windows were so dirty that you could hardly even see the ocean.

Overall bad experience for myself, I would stay somewhere else if I could do it over again.

First time being in Colombia, I was so excited. We got to the hotel and check in was horrible. No one was welcoming and honestly just wanted their tip money and to be gone. The breakfast is horrible. The rooms are spacious but the beds are quite uncomfortable. I understand that the vibe of the hotel is suppose to mimic those of Dubai however this hotel is extremely cheap in decoration, amenities, and services.

Housekeeping was quite a hassle too. They would literally knock on the door at 8 AM…. We are still sleeping and if we didn’t let them in they wouldn’t come back until the next day and then would give us excuses because other rooms are priorities. When I go to a hotel I expect the stuff to fix their own schedules not me fix it for them.

The breakfast was so cheap and the same thing every day. There was no variety. The towels that the hotel provides are sandpaper and stink.

I really don’t recommend this place and even people from here say people don’t have the greatest experience.

The staff in this hotel are definitely a 5star! Everyone is helpful and so professional! The hotel is grand, it is big and spacious. The location is perfect! Just outside a beach. Near many good restaurant and fast food places. Short drive from the airport and downtown. The hotel has fabulous pool with a bar, spa, gym, terrance and they loan the towels (they have separate for the beach and the pool which is great and no extra cost!). The breakfast is good and various of choices. The rooms are big and really nice (although they do need refreshing, new paint and maybe better cleaning ladys). The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big (the first one) we had to change rooms couse the A/C broke in our room :( but that happens. There is a bar on the top, fabulous bar and the view! But each time we ordered a drink we had to wait at least 30min, and the bar was almost empty so that was strange!

The only problem I had with the hotel was, we had a room on the 27 floor(the room was fabulous (but just few floors beneath the bar on top) the music was so loud until 2am we could not sleep. It was also quite difficult to get some hot water in the shower (or any water for that matter) but it was a 27floor so maybe that's why. I was also not happy with the cleaning ladys, they did not clean the floors or the upper shelves at all!

But overall it was a fabulous stay and I would stay there again in the future!

Greetings to Ramon (really helpful and nice guy who works there!)

Pros: Beautiful hotel, good food, spacious rooms and big beds. Very nice people. Pool is big but can get too crowded. Beautifull view

Cons: need to take into consideration that if you are sharing a room with someone, you better be prepared to have zero privacy for bathroom use or shower. We had a doble room. Big king bed and nice full bed. Shared room with husband, 6 years old daughter and mother. The bathroon and shower door are CLEAR (faded) and there is nothing in between. we have travel together and shared rooms but there has always been regular bathrooms (with normal not clear door) that kind of made the room experience a little awkward. We ended up putting the room blankets on the doors to cover it.
Also they will only give you 1 key card to open the room. If you are planning to do certain things separated from your roommates better request a second key card and pay the deposit (20.000 colombian pesos) that will be return to you at check out. The electricity in the room is powered by your door key . (when you walk in the room you have to place the key in a little thing on the wall. If key is not inside there is not power in room). So make sure you get an extra.
Make sure you find out the time and hours for meals if you have your all inclusive. Food runs out quick and they don't always replenish or takes too long.

Poor quality food. We paid for "all inclusive" and were not happy with the meals and we have to go out and eat somewhere else because the hotel would not let us check out returning money for the rest of the days we were staying.
We were forced to stay because we didn't want to loose the money for the rest of stay.
Manager was not able to offer a solution since this is "hotel policy"

This hotel is obviously a b it dated, but has a striking presence on the boca grande strip. My room was kind of weird, with the bathroom sink not located in the bathroom, lol. Rather it’s in the bedroom area? Weird. Also the bathroom has a glass door that doesn’t fully serve the function of most normal doors, which is muffling the skews and sounds of a normally used toilet.
The bed was quite comfy, which is a huge plus for me out here, where not many are. I did have to call many times and ask for towels and and actual blanket for the bed, as they only provide a thin sheet.
The pool is very nice! The rooftop view was amazing as well. The included breakfast buffet was par for included breakfasts in colombia.
The staff was very nice! And the location of the hotel across the beach is very convenient.

Bad experience starting that our Reservation was made months ago and only days after we realized that such Reservation had not been made, they managed to solve from the area in charge but I think it would have been better if they did not solve to have gone to another hotel.
Since we arrived there was a bad bed (broken boards) reported and what they did was to glue the boards, I think with slip because it was just sitting so it will be damaged again.
Dismal feeding
Dinners that from 830 pm in 3 nights we stayed no longer found options and the service goes until 9 pm (only pasta cooked and cassava cooked 3 nights
Apart from a seared fried fish and empty juice dispensers ) even worse there are no waiters only a gentleman of the worst kind, who was asked for favor and did nothing to solve
So much so that we had to visit nearby restaurants 🥲
The PS breakfast is varied but the same thing happens do not have a person in charge (only that gentleman and nothing ) so the eggs are tasteless and green
We made the remarks at reception from the first night but took no action.
The bar bad attention touches go to the bar to ask for service, does not clean the table does not leave the bar and cannot charge the command to the number of the room, only cash and at the time of ordering consumption
Waitresses enter without knocking on the door and that the hotel has cleaning notices for the guest to request
