Detailed Reviews
This was my third time staying there and was great like always. Love that this hotel is few of the hotels in front of the beach with a bar; the staff is very good and always willing to help and the location is unbeatable. Rooms are extremely spacious and you can find lots of good restaurants close to the hotel. Area is very safe

Hello with large rooms although I had to ask for a change because they do not have double window and it is very bad soundproof.
the distribution is rare and the huge pictures rub against the head of the chairs. The plugs don't hold the chips and you have to put a book or stand to help. Very well located, very close to the beach and with easy access. Ideal for going with family, the rooms are huge.
Breakfast and has a personalized service system but delays the process, little variety and a little basic.
Away from the old town, but well located in terms of tranquility.
On the contrary, despite needing a major reform and modernization in its management. The staff more than makes up for any failures or defects that arise. Very friendly and excellent treatment.

The view is amazing. All the rest, all regular. The shower was running out from underneath and wet the whole bathroom. The sheets had a stain on them. Breakfast was fine but nothing very special. Slow check in and check out process. The elevators are not adequate and the waiting time is very long.

Do NOT stay here, The only good thing; it's across the street from the beach.
I think we had a standard room. It does NOT COME with fridge, microwave, hairdryers. Nothing. We asked for a fridge and it did not work. Typical. The bathroom was very small, and only 1 person at a time.
The free breakfast rated C. Dried scrambled eggs, miniature empanadas.. which were quite tasty. Dry cereal, and fresh fruits. The dinner menu was surprisingly good, We had the Salmon and I chicken nuggets, Very good and reasonable, The staff were all very nice and helpful. One odd incident happened; They only gave us one key card, When I asked for another one, a man came up to our room and opened the door. I had to BEG for a 2nd key, Was very aggravating and strange, Would we stay here again... NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not recommend this hotel because of the bad management. Although the superior room had a good view, many things in this hotel are not professional. After check in, they made us sign a paper that we were satisfied with the room, which means they anticipated problems. The breakfast is a buffet, but you cannot take the food yourself. They serve you from the buffet dishes. Which is just unnecessary for me. At checkout, they made us pay around $25 because there was a stain on the sheet, that they couldn’t remove manually. I argued that they have to thoroughly wash it in the laundry before charging me, but I paid because of my peace of mind. In general, the amenities are basic, the swimming pools are tiny, and we didn’t find them interesting to use. The staff was mostly friendly. I think it was not worth the money.

Our stay at the Regatta started with first passing through the revolving door to the hotel. We were greeted with a "gracias smile as we arrived to the front desk for a very late check in at 11pm.
The check in was smooth, then we were taken to our room. The room was exaclty as depicted on the internet, everything was so very clean and the bed was to die for. Provided (4) incredible nights of sleep. TV had all the bells and whistles. I might add the air conditioner kept the room perfectly cool and comfortable. The hotel was right infront of the water and spectaclur view of the sunset and sunrise. We did visit the (2) pools, modest in size but very clean and perfect for a small party of 2 to 5.
Lastly breakfast served buffet style and plenty to have from either fresh cut fruit, eggs and cereal. The cappuccino was my choice instead of coffee which hit the mark. People were all very friendly. Clearly a super place to stay in Cartgena. Thank you Regatta for all the attention and excellent service!

+1
Excellent location in front of the beach and you can enjoy bathing or simply sunbathing. Rooms large enough, spacious, well equipped (including small refrigerator); its 2 swimming pools with sea views to enjoy the sunsets. The service staff are very friendly and attentive. The included breakfast is buffet and varied with good flavor. My recommendation is that they improve the cable TV service in rooms. I recommend it and would gladly return.

My stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment of arrival, always willing to help with any request. The facilities were spotless, the room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, which made my stay very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience.

I loved that the pool on the 11th floor allows the sun not to arrive until 12 noon. The room was super large and everything was very good. The lobby is very spacious. And everything is very good, the two elevators mean there is not much waiting time. Very rich and varied breakfasts

Hotel pictures on the Internet look great, rooms are outdated , I made the reservation on line and I selected the suite but the room isn't not a suite, the view is the worst , our room was located at the back of the building so our view was to others rear buildings , I made the comment at the front desk and the person said that it's not more room options, if I want a better view I should pay $250 extra per night , we stayed from Wednesday to Friday and the hotel was empty and the front desk manager did not offer any solution or cheaper option, realy bad customer services I will never stay on this hotel again.

On the first stop, we stayed in a room that had two double beds in the main area and a separate room with a queen size bed. I think they call this their "triple".
On the second say, it was the same as the first, only no separate room, just the main area with two double beds. I think they call this their "double".
I hope this is clear when translated.
Hola.
