Beautiful republican house located inside the walled city in Cartagena de Indias, close to squares, churches, restaurants, bars.
The house has 7 spacious rooms between 29m2 to 46m2 with their own bathrooms. 5 of the rooms with view to the patio and 2 of them with view to the street from the private terrace.
We provide 24 hours butler service and daily cleaning.
Visitors are not allowed during the stay , only people registered at the check in time.
Stayed here for 5 nights whilst in between weddings (Bogota and Medellin). I've experienced luxury; but this is another level! We were in room 1; it had a bathroom bigger than my house (!) with an open air ceiling and a FULL HEIGHT waterfall! STUNNING! They don't really have a menu; and you can just request whatever you want cooked! We stuck to a lot of ceviche :) Pool isn't huge on the rooftop; but it IS gorgeously serene; had breakfast up there a few times! Spoil yourself if you're ever in Cartagena!
We rented the whole Hotel LM as a villa for a long weekend and it was fantastic. The staff are brilliant - nothing was too much trouble for them from organizing ribs/their yacht to take us to beach clubs to coming along with us to dinners and nights out to make sure we were OK. They really went the extra mile. The Hotel itself is located in a great spot in Cartagena, right in the old town but it's also quiet at night being a couple of blocks away from the bars. Very hot when we visited so great having the cooler pool downstairs as well as the rooftop pool for the evenings. Thank you guys - was great fun!
This was our first time in Cartagena and probably won't be our last. Also our first time staying in a small quaint boutique hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and the staff was pleasant. The continental breakfast was always filling before a day of wondering the streets. The best part of our room was the outdoor bathroom. The only thing it was lacking was a little more greenery and plants by the waterfall. Our room was huge compared to some of the other rooms that we saw at some hotels and it was always cool. Since the hotel is like 6-8 rooms only, we were expecting to feel like we were a guest at someone's house and for the staff to be much more attentive and more involved with providing assistance with activities, excursions, cooking classes at the hotel, etc. We had been communicating with a beach resort to spend the day there and when they didn't show to pick us up, the front desk jumped in and contacted them and then asked us why we didn't go through them to book -- uhhhh we had no idea that was an option. Also, found that locals are just as lost where things are located too. We went exploring our first day and all the streets look the same and when we asked how to get to our hotel (in Spanish) no one knew what hotel we were referring too, haha. We did get the hang of the streets and found that apple maps will still track you even with no service so it made it easy to navigate around the walled city and Gestamani. Overall, the location is great, the hotel is safe, the room was amazing, and staff nice. We will definitely go back, would be open to staying here again, but for this being one of the more pricier hotels, I expected a little more WOW experience, so may try something different next time.…
We stayed for four nights in a junior suite and enjoyed the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Some of the furniture shows wear. Jacuzzi on rooftop is nice. The other pool in hotel looks more like a pond to look at versus swim in. Staff in hotel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly basic but OK.
We had room 1 but even our friends in another room loved it. Great amenities, great service. The bed is super comfortable. It has a beautiful, large rooftop and pool. The outstanding breakfast is not buffet but a full menu! In the dining area or your room. Some component of made-to-order. The location is ideal. Super helpful staff
Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Cartagena, convenient walk to everywhere. Enjoyed the morning breakfasts with made-to-order food and getting to know other guests and the afternoons on the rooftop deck with dipping pool and drinks/food as desired. Very reasonable cost for the service and quality- even arranged for a couples massage on the rooftop one afternoon. Javier and the other guys are very friendly and accommodating. We just tipped once at the end. On the first night, one insisted on walking us to our restaurant when we expressed concern about getting lost. They also provided excellent restaurant recommendations and made reservations (I emailed with them in advance). Rooms were spacious and well air conditioned. Perfect stay with a special staff.
Took my Mom on a 3 night trip to Cartagena for her 75th birthday. We searched high and low for a hotel room with 2 beds and nice white duvet covers. We found it at Hotel LM. Javier M. at the front desk enthusiastically answered all of our questions and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were delicious-fresh juices, smoothies and omelettes with deicious coffee. We even bought mangos in town and the staff was kind enough to slice them and bring them to our room. Great, central location near The Clock Tower and walking distance to everything in the walled city!
We loved our stay here - truly couldn't have imagined anything better. The room was spacious and elegant, the shower hot, the terrace awesome for people watching and a view of the old city. The location couldn't have been more ideal... all of the action is literally steps away yet not right on top of you so you feel like you have a private, quiet oasis when you need to escape the heat and endless vendors trying to sell you stuff. Thank you so much to the amazing staff who were so attentive and made our stay that much more special... the 2 Javiers (bueno y malo lol), Miguel, Carlos and all the rest (sorry if we are forgetting any names). Gracias a todos!
We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel LM in a beautiful room with a large bathroom with separate tub and shower. There was even a waterfall! The hotel itself was gorgeous. It was charming and reflected Cartagena perfectly. The rooftop pool was serene and had a wonderful view of the cathedral. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided wonderful service. The breakfast was delicious especially the fresh fruit and juices. It was very difficult to leave. We wanted to stay longer. But we know next time we visit Cartagena, we'll be staying at Hotel LM.
The hotel has a very nice position in the old city, it is really nice, it has not so many rooms but this is the good point of staying here. The staff is really friendly and can help you with reservations, advices.
