No cookie-cutter hotel. Beautiful, quiet, local hotel on the quaintest street in Xianheng. Superb rooms, good buffet breakfast, pool, etc. Right next (and connected) to the most famous yellow-wine (with food) locale of the region (people even come and just take photos). Blocks from famous writer´s home and school, a unique store store made entirely (floor, ceiling, colums) of bronze.... More

This hotel was very comfortable. They turned down the bed and had chocolates on the nightstand. The shower did leak water a bit, but nothing too significant. The brunch breakfast was quite diverse with many options. It is on the third floor, not the first-just an FYI.

Enjoyed everything from a very well appointed room to a breakfast buffet that hit all the high notes. Located in the center of town, many shops in walking distance. Staff is super friendly and very helpful with all requests.

The staff were all extremely friendly and polite. Everything was well cleaned in the room I stayed in. Food was awesome... It was such a pleasant experience to be able to eat my hometown food! The decorations inside the hotel has certainly made it a 5 star worthy stay! Everything was just so elegant and pretty!

The staff are genuinely kind and help and seem eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast buffet isn't anything extraordinary, but surely has enough Western options to leave you full. The rooms had free WIFI, but the connection was rather bad. In all fairness, the reason for this could be a problem on my computer instead... More

This is my second stay in this hotel and it was as good as the first time. A luxurious establishment at a very, very reasonable rate. The breakfast is excellent. I tried my new Mandarin word 'Tseh-sou' (toilet) which is important when you think of how much tea you drink in China. The waitress seemed to understand my pronunciation and... More

We spent there 2 weeks. The hotel is very nice, one of the best is town. The rooms are not always on the same level, you should better check it first. We had good internet connection during our stay. The restaurant is very good, an italian born chef came to the city to teach italian kitchen for the staff during... More

I travel to China frequently and have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times over the past 5 years. I find the staff to be very welcoming and friendly and the rooms are always clean. The price is very reasonable by Western standards. Over the past year I've noticed that the rooms are being upgraded in an ad-hoc fashon...... More
